I did write to the readers rep....No response. I also understand that Coleman is a columnist but he should still do the research and get his facts straight before writing a biased piece. I think it is just ehtical to do so. Just my opinion I could be wrong.....But I doubt it.

At least you got a response, I did not get a response at all. Coleman is a idiot and it just goes to show that he is more interested in his bashing and leaning journalism then anything that would represent the truth. He missed that day in journalism classes. I mistakenly thought that journalist were to report the truth, if not it should be in the editorial page and not in the sports section.

My wife and I went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory before going over to Joe Senser's to watch a game. There was an 1 1/2 hour wait to get a table. I went up to the counter to get a glass of water and a guy asked me about my jersey and what we were doing. Told him where we were going after eating and he said how long is the wait, told him. Then just about 5 minutes later he and the hostess walked up and sat us right away. Found out he was the manager and he later told me that he loved my jersey, and that he had one just like it at home. My wife was just blown away that we got a table because I was wearing my jersey. It was a really nice thing for him to do. But it just goes to show that it pays to wear your jersey everywear...

I hope they are sanctioned and can't play in any post season play. No WCHA Final Five no regionals and certainly no Frozen Four for at least one year. If they are so concearned with a nickname then the NCAA should ceratinly pull them from post season play for underage age drinking. Just my opinion I could be wrong!

The best part of this story, was that she was senn stripping by members of the football team. They told everyone they saw her. So it is OK to go to a strip club but not work at one. I guess it is all in how much money the school makes from that team. This story was told on one of HBO's shows.

Is he going to support that, since it is the right thing to do. This kind of babble just completely pisses me off. That story have more holes then his head apparently. I do not want to be rude but are they kidding. She not only gets a great education, but returned their to further her education. If she really looks at that statue in front of the arena and is so distraught then she is definitly missing the point. WOW I am amazed she passed her studies. My 63 year old mother was almost moved to tears when she say the arena for the first time. She was amazed and felt that it was so honoralbe and what a great way to honor Native Americans in ND. Yes I understand we are white and maybe do not get it. But that story makes me think. Do you think black Americans go to the Lincoln Memorial and think, Wow that guy freed us. I have said that UND if they do change their name, if should be changed the Calvary. Instead of showing a beautiful video of how UND honors the Sioux like they do at the beginning of every game. Maybe they could show a video of a Calvary soldier scalping a indian. I know this an extreme, but we would be within the guidlines of the NCAA. I just think this is a prime example of how screwed up this policy is...

I am one person and I am offended by the Minnesota Vikings should the NFL make them change their name? My wife is Irish, Notre Dame change your name. My son was bitten by a Gopher, Minnesota change your name. OrygunSue anyone can be offended by anything if the want to live their lives being offended by things. I agree with Dr. K but if we went around removing peopelthat we did not agree with all the time then there would be no politicians(not a bad idea)but it would not be good.
