Midco picked up the broadcast feed from AT&T Sportsnet RM which probably had its own uplink/production truck?

This would make most sense. Or there had another internet connection.

Based on the number of excuses we've seen from NCHC.tv so far this season they've lost my trust.

For those that think that NCHC-TV has been good at solving problems, this has not been the case whatsoever.  Those of us that have been All-access pass users from the beginning have seen that to be the case.  The Apple TV App has been horrendous to use and that has been the case until the last couple of weeks.  Moving around the App is bad and previous to this week, if you moved to the "Live" games, it would knock you out of the App almost every day that you tried to watch games.  For those that have not had a problem with Roku or other platforms, since the first week of the pod, good for you.  The issue is that what we pay for is what they say we should get.  Apple TV was one of the first that they said would be a good system to run, and I bought the newest Apple TV to make that happen to replace my old Apple TV which I had to Airplay to from my IPad.  Through the whole pod, when the Apple TV App did not work, I tried to Airplay from the NCHC-TV App on my IPad and it did not work.  It did work when I airplayed from the NCHC-TV web site.

As far as last night, it was another bad situation and if they are not using sat feed and counting on internet to feed them the stream, that is another serious issue.  I am not sure if that is the case from every arena.  That is obviously the reason Midco worked and Sidearm did not.  If Sidearm does not have the capability to use a sat feed, they need to change that situation.

I doubt sidearm has the equipment to pickup satellite backhaul. I also doubt World Arena actually has a satellite backhaul.

  3. Supposedly they have the Roku app fixed. Here is their email to me today...

"If you have updated your NCHC.tv Roku app in the last 48 hours, our sincerest apologies for the temporary inconvenience.

However, we were able to re-activate the previous version of the app which will allow you to successfully watch NCHC.tv live games.

Please update your Roku app before you watch the next live game

Thank you for your continued patience and please let us know if you are still encountering issues.

    Respectfully,"

I am with you. I can't get my iPad or iPhone to cast. So, I don't know what the problem is.

I was able to cast from iphone app to tv last night. I couldn't use the cast button though, had to start video on phone and then aidrop it to tv.

I can get the game to play on the NCHC app but cannot get it to chromecast. Any help?

go to lower right corner of computer screen, click box, click project, click duplicate, select your tv

Well the Laptop it is until they fix this Roku issue.  And to those saying get latest version.  When you uninstall and reinstall the version available on the Roku app store one would assume this is the newest version and it doesn't work for me.  Should be as easy as sign in and watch.

Something is funky with the roku app on my end still too. It had a new look where i was able to watch on demand just minutes ago. Now it looks how it looked last night and kicks me out when trying to watch the game. working fine on google chrome on pc and iphone app though.

    under settings

There was a settings tab last night. That is no longer there. I can view last night's games on demand, so maybe my roku recognized credentials from another device on my network and I'm logged in. I have several rokus - tried three of them last night, this is my fourth.

I've got the latest Roku update (9.4) and still can't get it to go...but thanks to Shawn-O's comment about AirPlay, I tried to connect to my tv from my iphone and it seems to work fine.  We'll see what happens at game time.

I was talking about the iPhone app. Still can’t get roku working here either. I’ll be trying to airdrop from my phone today as well!

    Hi Blackheart

We apologize for the issues that you're having watching NCHC action Roku last night.

Our team is currently working on pinpointing the issue in order to correct the issues that users accessing NCHC through Roku are experiencing.

The good news is that the stream is working correctly on all other platforms! So we encourage you to log into your account on the website, app, or other streaming platforms in order to watch the exciting action tonight!

I got that same response. Funny that Apple TV users were having issues as well, and I'm pretty sure they didn't release the update to make the iphone app to work until this morning. So it wasn't working on "all other platforms". Generic response though, I'm sure they send it out thousands of times.

I believe NCHC.tv has all streaming rights to the games in the Pod. Correct me if I'm wrong on this.

That’s what I understand. Just because I was curious, I attempted viewing at midcosn online and couldn’t watch yesterday’s games, but their other programming has been viewable online.
