I am also very grateful. to WDAZ/FSSN for the great job that they do. Pat Sweeney, Jim Scanlon and cousin Tarek all do great work and are very entertaining. My suggestion is that instead of having a PS player of the game maybe PS Doors or another sponsor could put on the power play clock. I think this would be more bang for your buck, considering the number of power plays in a game. Example: this power play time being brought to you by Siouxpermex. Just my two pesos for what it is worth!!!!

Can anyone explain to me why it is that we must go out of state to hire a person in charge of the University. My own personal observation is that the University of North Dakota hasn't been adminstered properly since Tom Clifford's, a born and bred North Dakotan, departure. Come on people it's time to show these people what North Dakota is about and by these people I also mean the SBOHE. I agree goon, about the major for spearing. It will be interesting to see what Greg Shepard will do since he was attending last nights game. Will he have some gonads or turn his usual blind eye to the spearing and Vossbergs attack from the bench?

You forgot about Travis Dunn, ( aka Mr. Rose Brunsvold ) he did a good job the years he was with Pat Sweeney. I would put a vote in for him God knows he needs it, his hockey career with the Sioux was almost invisible. Ha! Ha! Only joking Travis.

I guess when I made reply yesterday I didn't get my point across clearly. I don't want Joe to fight for the sake of fighting. What I want him to do is take an honorable way of doing it, if there is such a thing. Joe does a lot of yacking without any results I would sooner like to see him skate away with humility, ( otherwise put up or shut up and don't look like a Punkobitch). I sat by a guy who got to see the Minnesota series he said he saw what happened in the handshake line that Joe offered his hand to Wheeler and Wheeler slapped it away, this would have been a good time to take an honorable way and not Punk it up and look like a goon. I love Sioux hockey and all the Sioux players I just want them, to steal a phrase, " be all that they can be." Go Sioux and let's sweep them tonight!!!!!!

I agree with many of you on ranking our defense but, one thing really bothers me. Joe, when are you going to drop the gloves and take off the helmet and mix it up with a person that deserves it? Two and half years I have watched you goon it up and talk a lot of s**t at the other players but I haven't seen you pull a Kaip or a Perp. Your starting to look a lot like a certain Denver player who's intials are Punkobitch. Don't wait for the handshake line or until there's a linesman around drop them and kick the crap out of them. I will gloat then you are the best defenseman in all of college hockey.

Tell me what's the difference whether you run out on your team or pull a major boner like this? Oshie is not a kid he's 21 years old that makes him a man, he figures he's old enough to drink he better figure it out he old enough to suffer the consequences. Maybe they will give him speedy due process and he will face the courts before the season is over this time. Maybe he gets 30 to 60 days in the clink, tell how he's going to help his team now. Everyone has to be reponsible for their own actions.

You keep referring to the REA staff and Sioux fans as classless. Maybe we should have printed a nice classy poster, instead of the pom poms to give away. I don't know what game these critizers of Lapointe were watching but, what I have seen in the first two games and I watch him two periods of each game, he has been fairly sound for a freshman. I like the fact that when there is a shoot in to the corner the man he has isn't the one getting to the puck he's either pinned to the board or on his hinny. Unlike another defenseman that used to play here. I won't mention his name for you other thin skinned Lee sympathizers. I think Lapointe is going to be very similar in play to that of Chorney, you very seldom see them because they are fundamentaly sound.
