OMG! I just saw that documentary about 3 weeks ago, and had to DVR it to watch it again! Talk about one messed up family!

I am listening to it. There is a good minute plus lag between radio feed and live blog.

Stats can be followed on the Rink Writer website. There is a link for ND High School Tournament on the right hand side. Not sure how quickly they update, but if you can't listen at least it is something. There is also a live blog from the tourament on the Bismarck Tribune website.

If you watch the one angle of the replay, you can see Makowski flip the puck quite high in the air to get it out of the zone and when it hits the ice, it almost seems as if it changes direction. Genoe does appear to be sliding to his left to try to stop it. Not sure at what point he was even able to see it prior to it hitting the ice in front of him?

Century defeats Bismarck 7-2. Bismarck High will have to face Bottineau at 12:30 tomorrow with a trip to State on the line. Century will play the winner of Minot/Mandan tomorrow evening.

Century now up 7-0 on Bismarck after 2.

So far today, in the West: Jamestown takes out Dickinson 7-1 and Bottineau takes out Hazen-Beulah 6-2. In the East: South takes out North 3-2 and Devils Lake takes out Davies 3-1. In the first game of the evening in the West, Century is up 3-0 on Bismarck High after the 1st.

Team USA beat Russia 10-4 in the U18 Five Nations Tournament earlier today. I know Grimaldi had at least 2 goals in the win. (5 goals in 2 games. . . not too shabby!)

So far, Grimaldi has 2 goals in the game against Russia.

Amazing, Gophers are down 4-0, Lucia "talks" to the officials and all of a sudden we have a 5 minute major AND a 2 minute penalty on UNO! Blais is NOT happy!

He talked to an employee there and it sounds like they will be ordering more stuff, as long as they can, so I assume (or hope?) that there will be an influx of merchandise coming? It will be a sad day when they have to pull all Fighting Sioux merchandise from their shelves.

My husband found something very similar to that at Scheel's in Bismarck. (Maybe not quite as large?) And, FYI, he was there today and said the place was NUTS. May not be much left in the Sioux section by day's end!!

This year it looks like the Miami/Alabama-Huntsville game would be the one affected if the lacrosse game happens to run long. (Maryland v. UNC will be on ESPNU starting at 1:00 p.m. and the Miami game is set to begin at 3:00.)

Yippee! I know what I will be doing all day Saturday!! Another awesome weekend of college hockey!! Man, I LOVE this time of year.
