And their goalie is playing THAT good! I don't know what it looks like at ice level, but even on computer screen he looks like a FREAK in the net. No guy that tall should be able to play target in a hockey game. And, he likes to come out of the net and play the puck, kind of like a much smaller former Sioux goalie from Apple Valley.

No kidding! It's absolutely incredible!! I have never watched a game where our guys take more shots and will hit a leg, miss the net, you name it - they just can't get everything clicking at the same time. And, this goalie is playing out of mind!!

The Martens, Zajac, Vandevelde line looks good together. This f'in goalie is just standing on his head, his a$$, you name it. He could close his eyes and the puck would hit him in the glove. It's amazing.

This was a hell of a game. I don't know about anyone else who watched the game, but I thought the boys looked like they were playing in mid season form. They need a little more Blais conditioning so they don't look so gassed in the 3rd period, but from a "team" aspect all the lines looked like they are really playing together way beyond the 4th game of the year. As everybody else posted, the Badgers announcers could NOT stop talking and actually bragging about the Sioux team speed. Like someone else said, they have a LOT of similarities with the '97 speed kills team. Lammy looked great! All the forwards were flying and our defense had one mistake that cost us a break away, but they were rock solid in the 3rd period.

He was skating figure 8's on the ice after the end of the 1st period. He looked fine, but maybe he was testing an ankle or a knee.

Sconnie announcers are probably the most fair at calling the game when it comes to WCHA crews. But man, they did absolutely NO HOMEWORK. They just called Bina "Bine-a". Tripping penalty on wisco completely missed by sheppard the $hithead!

Sioux power play looks like mid season form! Our power play hasn't moved like that since Parise, Bo and Murray, 2000 title team or the Hrkac Circus. And this d-corp might play the point better than those teams. Really great to see them clicking so well so early in the season!
