For the love of god, the Goofers Sports Suck UP Network, better known as FSN has the following commentators doing their wrap-up: Doug "Wuggi" Woog, Frank "THE Rug" Mozoko, Anthony (actually I don't mind him) LaPanza and, I can't believe this, Jeff "I'm the coolest guy I know" Dumbay. Vanelli got his goal on the PP, not sure about the asst. 2nd goal was Barribal, Wheeler was the only asst. I saw. I'm listening to the Sioux game on-line (I think we established that) and flipping back and forth to the BC Wisco game. Game over. Goofs win the opener, 2 - 0. Goofs only allowed 20 shots.

Wheeler's play is becoming very scary to me. That was an awfully nice goal. I would really hate to see him keep getting better as the season progressed. Is Barribal the guy who replaced the player known as the former player? 6 goals, Cripes!!

They are giving the Goofs all they can handle. Just jinxed them, Vanelli scored on the PP. Zaba was pushing his luck a little too far. Elliot is the only thing keeping Wisco in that game. So now that we have a break in the Sioux flurry, what is the deal with JT and Lammy? Haven't had a chance to follow the board this week and missed the coach's show recap. Any news on JT injury? Leg, shoulder? Time he will be out? And what happened to Lammy? Did something happen in practice this week? I could go back to the board, but I figure this group will the most up to date info and we have a period break.

No doubt about it. That was a veteran team with a helluva goalie and they played like it. I think it's good for the boys to play some really high quality teams early on in the season. Nothing like ticked off embarassment to fuel a young team to prove themselves.
