What does Warroad do differently developmentally compared to Roseau, seems like numbers are the same, but Warroad seems light years ahead right now. I know there will be a wave coming for Roseau.

His parents divorced and she moved home to Warroad. It's very true, he's either born in the metro and moved to Bemidji. It wasn't until junior high until he moved to Warroad.

Nelson was born in Bemidji and didn't move to Warroad until 7th grade.

I want to say it was the 96 RR team that beat Warroad, who went on to win state over Red Wing (Johnny Pohl), they made hats that said "ND and MN State Champs"

I think it benefits everyone. Mayville/GPR can schedule Kittson County/Crookston. GFC/GFRR can schedule Moorhead/Bemidji.

I was told the Moorhead wanted to schedule GFC next year but there were one or two EDC teams that wouldn't agree to playing GFC once for 6 points. It's 100% politics, I'm just saying it can't be fun for Bottineau-Rugby to get their ass kicked on a Thursday at the Ralph.

This would allow GFRR and GFC to do a cities swing where they could schedule some of the Minnesota powers. Their Bantam AA schedule is essentially a MN schedule. I'm sure these kids kind of develop rivalries in youth hockey, why not continue it at the HS level.

You could do some sort of relegation how world juniors do it where the top teams from class A move up and bottom two from AA move down.

North Dakota High School needs to move to two classes for hockey plain and simple. 4 teams from each class make the state tournament. That way the GF/Fargo schools can schedule 10 non-conference games vs. Minnesota opponents. Could bring back the Jason Stadstad Holiday Classic at the Ralph and try and get more teams to come. I don't think the Schwan Cup exists anymore. One can dream.
