Louisiana-Monroe is a crap-hole program. I hope they enjoy losing because they are going to be doing a lot of it.

Hoping to see Brooks back out there tonight! Was it confirmed that he was sick and that's why he wasn't even at the game?
Yes, he fell ill just before the last game.

I see everyone's comments are pretty reasonable after yesterday's loss at Wyoming. Disappointed but nobody jumping off the deep end based on 1 game sample size. Just for context, last year's Hawks lost its first game of the year to Northern State at home. It was a similar start of the year with a mix of veterans, transfers and newbies. Last night, we battled hard (thank you, Kacie) until the fourth quarter. The team will improve , but the bigs need to figure it out and quit rushing things under the hoop.

When are we going to stop expecting huge TE production? Our TE's probably have similar stats to most FCS teams, although I haven't checked and could be wrong. I think because SDSU has some top end TE's with huge production and are in the NFL we all think huge TE production will solve all of our problems. It's just not a huge part of our offense. But I'm sure it will give people something to complain about for several years to come.
Exactly. We have great blocking tight ends. That is a tight end job, too. Not just pass catching.

Umm... a TE had a TD yesterday.
And the game winner in OT the game before. Lightning strikes twice.

I love Brady D's energy, heart and drive. When he's on the floor, he is dynamite and makes things happen. So fun to watch.

I heard Kacie Borowicz won the whole thing. Sounded like the girls team had a lot better shooting performance.
Kacie was on fire. Once she got her rhythm flowing, which didn't take long, she could basically just close her eyes and let them fly.

How’d you get this tweet to embed?
No clue. I did it from my phone. I just grabbed a tweet from X.com and pasted it into a post on this site. I was surprised too.

Who stopped Daniel from competing? Or, who chose the competitors? I couldn't tell how that worked.

I like the take but doubt it. UND has good tailgating but SDSU has great tailgating. I was at SU tailgating three years ago and it was bigger than UNDs. UNDs is still run as an afterthought.
I wasn't impressed with Brookings tailgating 3 weeks ago. Nothing to write home about in comparison. It was pretty much the same as UND and NDSU's.
I should add that I did like giving crap to all the turncoat BozoJack fans that live along the ND/SD border and root for both Ag schools and despise UND. Horns down and "F the Bizon" shut them up fast when they are among a crowd of true Jacks fans.

We revel in the glorious history of the “Mooney” game that ended the long 80/90’s winless streak to NDAC. I wonder how last Saturday will be remembered?
“The game.”
A. Skokna
B. Ziebarth
C. Siegel INT (The Dagger)
D. The Re-emergence of the hogs
E. None of the above (fill in your own)

I agree!
UND does a good job of keeping the campus community and public up to date on campus projects at the its Campus Renewal Blog: https://blogs.und.edu/campus-renewal/
UND is not all about razing buildings. It's a mix of razing and reno projects on campus:
Recent renovations are:
Wilkerson
Brannon Hall
Harrington (partial reno)
MCCannel Hall (partial reno)
Merrifield
Chester Fritz Library
Carnegie Building
Old Stone House (president's house) now called Gershman Graduate Center.
Education building
O'Kelly Hall (Partial reno)
Law School Baker Court Room
More planned renovations:
Noren Hall
Selke Hall

Are you somehow suggesting that fan bases at EVERY level seek to expound the virtues of the backup QB because he isn't playing and they when he plays he disappoints them?
Bingo

He’s got that new car smell
Sadly, depreciation would start once the tires are off the lot with every inevitable sack, INT, delay of game, or incompletion. Then the search for a newer model would begin anew.
