Big game and the boys look bad already....not good. I hate the big ice

UND doesn't typically play well on Friday night in Clown Town but are undefeated on Friday's on CBSSN. Somethings gotta give. UND 4-2 Rocco with a ENG to seal it late.
-
CBS sports network on friday and saturday comcast i beleive
CBS sports network only does Friday games.
-
The Warroad vs EGF game is streamed on wdaz.com right now if you're out of the area. The video feed looks better than UND games. hmmmmm.....
-
hey what channel is the game on saturday night i thought it might be on comcast the st.cloud state network
comcast usually has the st.cloud games on here in the Cities. Big Chief said it might be on Comcast 999. it lists special event but doesn't list any information. i think that's where i've found it before. I hope so!
edit: he heard that info from Sweeney.

hahaha cool. yeah Spiewak and Noterman were the best PK tandem i've seen at UND. really fun to watch.

Article on recruit Hayden Shaw
http://www.woodburyb...ing-hayden-shaw
On a related note: of the 18 players currently committed to UND, only 2 are Canadian (Gardner and Chartrand). Are we seeing a gradual shift in Hakstol's recruiting strategy?
wow, i hadn't looked at the recruits in that manner. It could be a strategy or just that US players right now have the same or better talent than those playing in the BCHL or AJHL right now. probably just cyclical.

To win #8 it's going to take UND scoring at least one more goal than their opponent in a championship game.

I don't think anyone said that at all.
You can't blame the coaches for everything that happens on the ice and you can't blame the players if the coaching staff failed to prepare them correctly/sufficiently.
The "fault" goes to both.
This thread has been 110 pages of regurgitation for both sides. Every post I read, I feel like I've already read it earlier in the thread 10 or 20 times.
Ding Ding Ding. We have a winner. Yes, the coach can be blamed but not without including Oshie, Stafford, Duncan, Chorney, Porter, Frattin, Malone, Blood, Knight, Kristo, etc.... Great players win big games and it's just a shame that Toews doesn't have a NCAA title to go along with all the other accolades he's achieved thus far in his career.

Tell me they did the circle of sticks...tell me they did the circle of sticks...
by all accounts it was the "road raising of the sticks to acknowledge the GO SIOUX chants at the end of the game" tradition. that's the one that doesn't require a circle.

Dog fan with sign, "who's your mascot?" UND frat boy replies, "Well, we know *yours* is a dumb bitch named Champ". Ha ha

If you can download/install the Puffin Browser from the iPad store that MIGHT do it, as Puffin has built in Flash support. BUT...America One also wants something extra, called "OneVision" (and it's another download for my windows system). AmericaOne has a 'trial video' on their site that will let you know if your system is going to work. I'd try an install of Puffin and go to AmericaOne and see if you can view the trial video. Good Luck!
thanks for the info

can you get americaone webfeed on an ipad...? i see it's flash so maybe not...

can't believe they called that in OT

For the record Frattin was 10x the player
agree. Frattin could take a game over by himself for long stetches. Kozek never did that but he did have a great wrister. Favorite Kozek moment for me was vs Mich Tech. He went in the corner, knocked John Scott on his ass, then walked in and scored. beauty.

There is parity in hockey just like there was parity from 78-00 only it was us not BC that seperated ourselves.
another aspect of this is that college hockey in general is down in talent. overall, today's college hockey is not on the same level as it was from 2000-2010.

Alright, I'll bite. Give me your team and I'll give you my comparison.
Oh and I'll be judging your sportsmenship as well, so pick '07-'08 if you want.
do you know what this was in reference to? haha....ok. 2006-07

I disagree with Big A regarding the skill level of this team. This team does lack a true blue chip player that many team in the past had but at the same time this team is arguably more skilled than many we have had. We play a different style of hockey than years past. When we are passing well and skating fast we are a heck of a team. Another example is how we carry the puck into the zone. This team is much more suited to carrying the puck into the offensive zone than playing the dump and chase game of the past imo. I think that actually helps us in the NCAAs.
I think we might be one year early this year. Next year we are going to return 3 highly skilled scoring lines and we will have a 4th line with some true grit. Couple that with an experienced Gothberg and next year looks to be a good one.
ahhh....you might want to rethink that one.

College has become the same way. Line up at the blue line.
UNO was a great example of that. UND teams that Blais coached never played that way.
