  1. On the NBC news this morning they stated specifically the data will still be reported through the CDC. Reason for the change is the CDC data collection is not set up to handle the turn around and reporting of this as quickly as it needs to be done. A new database was set up. Maybe this provides better transparency with better data.
  2. So 50% of those not supporting him now have ruled out supporting him in the election. That leaves 50% to decide if they are for a defunding police policy, economic policy that is making business nervous and an environmental policy that will raise costs of good and drive business over seas OR what they see of Donald Trump.
  3. Are the stores requiring masks a profit center for them. Menards won’t turn you away but will sell you a mask. Have to imagine Walmart will do the same. I love capitalism. Really a win, win for these retailers.
  4. Environmental policy unveiled by Biden yesterday leans more toward AOC/far left demands. Might be tough to swallow for families and states relying on income from energy, logging and coal. Also will drive up cost of manufacturing in US as the demands to meet increased emission regulation is a huge percentage of component cost in equipment and automobiles. Can be done much cheaper overseas.
  5. Economic policy, gun control, raising taxes businesses amid a below expected 2020 due to Covid, reparations, free college tuition. Most high profile democrats will be on record on their stance on those issues and they won’t all play well to the voting base that is in the fence. To your point, AOC has moved the entire party voting base that direction. If Biden ever comes out and is forced to explain policies in these issues, he will run the risk of losing he middle man or frustrating a democratic base and voter turnout. There is a reason he’s being kept to scripted speeches with no questions right now
  6. A bunch of the recognizable names he could put in his cabinet have gone so far left in their beliefs/promises I would welcome that.
  7. The path is small but in my opinion having visited some of those states in the last month for work, people in construction and manufacturing are nervous of a Biden win. He has to get out and explain policy if he wants to secure heir votes. A lot of them have had record years the last 3 years and even with nothing in April and part of May are still working and going to have a good year. Biden has to actually explain what he is going to do if he wins. His first attempt at his economic tax policy has some business pretty nervous.
  8. The race card. No where did I mention anything having to do with race. Mid was response to your opinion of safety (how trump is handling Covid) vs third world countries.
  9. Point still stands. Everyone else is doing it better but no one would leave here and nearly everyone from there would come here.
  10. Yet most in those third world countries would give everything they have to come here. Care to trade spots with them? Everyone does exactly what their govt says and according to you they handle Covid better. You’d be safe.
  11. Biden will likely win the popular vote again and lose the electoral college as he begins laying out his economic policy and businesses start seeing how poor it is. Lost jobs won’t sit well at a time people may just be getting back to work.
  12. The entire last few paragraphs on the story today from “experts” have to do with applying herd immunity and people who have not yet got the virus. What does geographic area have to do with the comparison and discussion on herd immunity from experts?
  13. Check salary comparisons between black and white women

  15. Conferences setting up to start practice when school starts, maybe a week earlier and start season when conference starts. Buys them another month to evaluate vs having to start practice beginning of August.
  16. I’d bet that 60% of your fellow male Sioux fans that have children aren’t divorced or are living in the same household as their children. You can achieve B without having to disrupt A.
  17. So because one does not fully agree with the opinion of someone’s essay they are racist?
  18. I have seen this chart before. Even the people who put it together can’t explain it as easily as you would like. If I remember correctly, their solution is reparations.
  19. Are all citizens of Mississippi required to register to vote?
  20. He’s being pressured to select a woman of color for one reason.
  21. Not saying they aren’t qualified but what does Biden’s VP candidate list look like? Wonder if the selection will be made based on the person having the best ideas to earn votes or another reason.
  22. Don’t forget the noise when gas prices get to high.
  23. Do all citizens in Mississippi have to register to vote?
  24. He used “probably” and “potentially” when giving his opinion as an expert. The one question he did agree on is what had been stated here many times, most vulnerable stay at home and least at risk get back to work and school.
  25. It will be an interesting next few months for sure. Not sure what the October surprise will be this year but we both can agree it will likely be something like we have never seen before. Left or right leaning, plenty of calling out going in.
