Game ended up 5-1 USA... Kessel with a hat trick... Stafford had an assist. USA plays Canada on Tuesday at 2:30 I believe. Game will be shown on TSN, which can be watched online for free at a number of websites. Should be a great game. I haven't been able to watch USA, but from what I've seen of Canada, if they can play their game they will be very tough to beat.

Parise with a goal in today's game against Latvia... USA is up 4-0 with about five minutes left in the game. Canada also won 5-1, however Toews only played just over seven minutes

Capitals Prospects Updates

While browsing the Blackhawk's website I noticed that today is Toews' 20th birthday... Happy birthday!!!

Another idea is to offer a promotion with ticket stubs and goals. I know that in Madison if the Badgers score five goals everyone gets a free scoop of ice cream from Culvers. Perhaps here we could do Red Pepper tacos or something like that... That way when we get to four goals we can start chanting that we want tacos

Something random I thought of while being cold walking to class.... last season they had a soup lady over by the Olympic rink and she had hot apple cider... that was good! I'd like to see someone else offer hot apple cider since she is gone. But I do like the rotating (by season) option that is served there.
