For some weird reason, it hasn't been showing up on Fox College Sports on Directv lately. I've sent out a few emails to figure out what's going on.

Unfortunately, ESPNU isn't available in HD in the Fargo or Grand Forks markets. There are few places around the country, but not many. The sports pack on Directv (for people ouside the FSN North market) is $12.99/ month and for Dish Network its $5.99/ month. Also, with Directv and Dish, anyone with at least the Choice Package or the America's Top 120 already has ESPNU.

As a DirecTV subscriber for 10 years and a retailer in Fargo... this Versus thing is frustrating, but it will get resolved- it's just a matter of time. If they are going to offer the hockey package for free, I'd take it. These things happen from time to time, and they are not limited to DirecTV, Dish Network, or any cable provider you might have. It makes is worse when they are own by the competition (i.e.: Comcast owns Versus). Don't blame Directv... sure it might be partially their fault, but I see it all over the country (mostly with local stations), but they see these big corporate companies and think they deserve more money from them. Versus will be back, and Directv is by far and away the best way to watch any sports. To cancel service because of this would be stupid, because your sports coverage with any other company is going to be a rip off.

I don't understand how a tribe can vote overwhelmingly in support of the nickname and the "tribal council" can say they are going to make the decision regardless of what their people think.

Untalented would be a fair assessment. Shanley is pretty bad. Anyone have a final on the game?

I'm not sure who tried to use the score of the South-Century game to try to say that the West wasn't that far behind the East, but I'd say that the 4E. Devil's Lake beating 1W. Bismarck 6-0 w/ 7 min left just goes to show that South was in fact playing down and the West is still terrible.

they were definately playing lines #1 & 2 in the edc title game... i was there. i think he was just saying they were resting them in the 2nd and 3rd pd of the first 2 games... not the south game.

Well with the first game, Shanley didn't put out their 1st or 2nd line, either... not that it would have mattered, but they admitted to throwing that game.

I'm not sure 16-0 and 7-0 are exactly conserving energy for RR.

I'm pretty sure that South isn't trying their hardest. It's true... they do tend to play down to lesser teams and pull away at the end. Nonetheless... it is 4-2.
