I don't get it either... but i'm also confused as to why the station in grand forks... 1310, i believe... that carried all of the games from EDC isn't carrying the State games... I know the games used to be on the radio here... it's just dumb.

is there anyone in grand forks or bismarck on here that is able to listen to the game on the radio?

That was a horrible excuse for reporting. Jeremy clearly didn't look at more than one side of the issue. He and Nightline should be ashamed of that. I can't believe I stayed up for it. I may be a Bison fan, but I think the Fighting Sioux nickname should stay in place. Nobody is comparing NDSU to a DI-a team, so get that idea out of your head. And as for the sorry program comment, well, #8 in the country. Nuff said. Those are completely different teams from completely different eras. Even with that said, there is no way that the Bison teams from 86 or 90 could do anything against today's Bison. They are bigger, faster, and stronger, just like FargoBison pointed out. I think that ndsubison said it best when he said you should educate yourself.

The penalty is worth it. The Bison played 2 DI-aa teams in their last season and almost made the playoffs. UNO is the only other quality team in the NCC right now while St. Cloud State is ok. The NCC lost a lot when UNC and NDSU made the jump. UND would gain recognition and confidence with a win against a DI-aa team. How can you say that you have nothing to gain and everything to lose? Losing a game versus, say Augustana or Minnesota-Duluth, that could be bad!

2-9 in their 2ND to last year? How about 8-3 in their last year in DII - not to mention beating Montana. That was also the first year of the Bohl era. It would be interesting to see what those DII teams you mention could do and I'd love to see it. But first, Kupchella needs to get his head out of his ass.

Have you gone off your meds? There is no way that UND could win the Great West. The only reason they are undefeated is because of there weak schedule. Halstrom is absolutely correct, they are no better than a top 30 team. As for NDSU being a DII holdover team- that is a load of crap. A lot of those players have graduated and we've gotten a ton of new recruits since going DI-aa. There is a reason that players are on DI-aa teams as opposed to DII teams - they are better. There is no way that UND would even have a winning record in the Great West Football Conference.

You think we should banned? All you can say is that NDSU has an inferiority complex to UND with nothing to back yourself up. I think you should ban yourself.

Yeah, I'm not thinking about the past... I'm focusing on the present- like how NDSU just beat #9 Northwestern State 35-7 and our soccer team just beat Drake and UNI. Did I mention that the football team is currently number 10 in the country in our 2nd year of D1-aa?

Are you dillusional? Do you honestly think that UND would have a chance against NDSU this year? They did not leave division 2 just get away from UND. If that was the case, why did they ask them to play a game last year? (Which was denied by UND.) They left because they are capable of competing at a higher level, something that UND apparently can't do. If UND wants to try to make ammends for a stupid mistake now, they are sorely mistaken. By the way good job in beating Westchester, Central Washington, & Winona- those are quality institutions.
