I was at the game on Saturday. I had a great time watching the Sioux win in that fashion. It was my first Sioux Hockey game so it was a memorable one.

The NCAA mandates that if there is a webcast of the game, it must be provided for free. Thanks for your help with the satellite stuff.

I know this may be a long shot, but are there any watch parties for Sioux fans in the Kansas City area? I attend UND/NDSU watch parties in the past and thought maybe UND alumni in the area had organized one. Thanks, Brandon

I would like to say good luck to UND in their venture to 1-AA. I will miss you guys in D2. I'm happy that you will get to play NDSU again. Both are great football schools and both will be among the tops in 1-AA very soon. Brandon

Todd, This is what happened. Saturday, I went to my girlfriend's house to mow her yard while she was away to give her a little surprise. Well, my left foot slipped while my right foot was planted in a hole and I broke my ankle. I had to wait for 1.5 hours for her to get home. I was then on her couch for the better part of two days because I didn't think it was broken. Monday it was confirmed to have been broken and I had a cast put on it. In the meantime, the web guy was switching to the new server and I didn't know that he was doing it. So I was away from the computer for two days and when I get back he tells me that he's switched it over but there was miscommunication on the message board. I have to wait for him to ftp it to the site and then I can set it up. I apologize to everyone for the delay. He says he will import it this afternoon and I will begin the setup immediately.

It's fixed. Thanks for your patience. When the site is transfered to the new server and the new board is set up those things won't happen (hopefully).

The decision to charge for the message board was not made by me. It was made by former partner Jeff Whitten. It was somewhat necessary because of server issues. However, it was done to generate some revenue to pay for the server. I never wanted to charge for it. Please go sign up and talk to other D2 fans.

I graduated from Northwest Missouri State so I've seen my fair share of NCC teams. The dirtiest team has always been UNC, at least under Glenn. NDSU liked to play beyond the whistle and UNO plays extremely close to the edge. SDSU was just a boring football team so I have no comment on them. BY FAR, the classiest team and group of fans was from UND.

To the national media and fans, there are only two types of football: BCS and Non-BCS. To them 1-AA is as important as NAIA except that 1-AA generally has bigger enrollments and you've heard of some of their teams because of basketball. ESPN carries the 1-AA and D2 title games ONLY because they are contractually obligated to as part of the package with the NCAA.

I have only talked to one UND fan EVER that I didn't like. After my team beat the Sioux in 99 your fans were complimentary, nice, cordial, etc. After that game I really started to like UND and its fans. While I believe those things happened, I certainly don't think it's indicative of most UND fans. Having said that, I've been to Florence twice. Southern hospitality is EXTREMELY overrated. Florence felt no different than anywhere I've been in the Midwest outside of Chicago. I think in general, people in "flyover" country are good, polite, cordial people.

There is an NCAA rule mandating a certain number of tickets for the visiting team between the 30 or 40 yard lines.

I think UND has that mentality every year, which is a direct reflection of their head coach and AD.
