  1. Yup, that's the story I was looking for...thanks. After doing a little research i see that Larimore played Belfield in 78, and Sargent Central beat Halliday in 79... I think I may be "mis-remembering" some of these games...So did Marlon Bell play for Belfield or Halliday?
  2. Kindred Vikings...I could not find Karlsruhe listed in my book...
  3. I believe this was discussed before but that Halliday team had Marlon Bell, Wes Wasem, and Shoate Little Soldier on it. They looked so good in the semi's and really struggled in the final. Mafia, didn't you have the inside story on this one? Those Edmore teams in the early 80s had some good players...Mark Melland? and Brent Viger were a couple of big boys for the Vikings...they were pretty much unstoppable in the low post. Viger, by the way, was an outstanding baseball player (drafted by the Cincy Reds I believe) and could absolutely crush a softball...he once knocked out the opposing third basemen with a line drive; luckily the guy got his glove in front of his face or it would have been much worse.
  4. Oh, he's playing women's hockey too?
  5. I'm guessing that a large % of people who own flex vehicles wouldn't run E85 in them anyway...the mileage isn't as good and it's just as expensive in most cases.
  6. ok...so Carpio was the Cardinals, Donnybrook was the Hi-Liners, what was Tolley?
  7. I heard the B1G is combining with the Bloomington Mite Program in an effort to upgrade the quality of play.(of the B1G)
  8. Same here in MSP.
  9. I doubt the validity of a Gofer fan.
  10. No more Sherwood or Lansford?
  11. Yeah, my old District 22 of Des Lacs-Burlington, Berthold, Surrey, Sawyer, Velva, and Granville is long gone...Deering even managed to have a team up to 1984 I believe.
  12. Langdon took down Cavalier (Todd Olson) in regional in '85....they had a guy named Andy Dosman guarding Olson from the time he got off the bus until games end...they called him the Giant Killer or something similar as he held Olson below his usual numbers. Of course having guys like Romfo and Waslaski helped.
  13. I believe there was a Glenn Gerving as well....graduated around '84.
