I was just trying to say that even though we have not had the kind of start that many (myself included) might have hoped for, we are still sitting good for our second half run. I do agree that some need to start contributing more, let's hope that happens.

Are you sure about this? Don't you think it's time for certain player's to be singled out for their less than stellar performances? Maybe Hak needs to be shot, hung and pissed on! I'm sure all of "the sky is falling fans" on here just won't believe we are in any kind of position to be a #1 seed.

OK, for those who are offended by what Looker said about HC please consider this advice. Drop what you are doing and walk directly into oncoming traffic, or find the nearest bridge and jump. If you are that offended by something like that you are a complete loser and the world will not be missing anything more than a few overnight convenience store clerks.

Excuse me dumbass, but you are talking about the loss of a hockey game vs. a very serious injury to an individual player(that could have resulted in that player never walking again, or worse.) They are not even close to being the same. If there are some people out there that were actually offended by that announcement, they seriously need to get a fucking life. Completely ridiculous.

Well, Vandy's a hell of a player no doubt about it, but for my money Minnesota Mr. Hockey of 2005 wears #7 for the Sioux.

I'll be at the Italian Moon tonight to watch my Cowboys whip the pack(sorry Adam), then again this weekend to watch the Sioux take it to the pios. Time to get into mid season shape with the beer and wings.

I am willing to buy up any season tickets that people are willing to dump. Certainly they will be at a deeply discounted price as this team surely is not worth the price of admission. I'm thinking .05 to .10 cents on the dollar. PM me, serious offers only please.

OK, so my "poor attitude" is bringing the team down. Shame on me. The fact of the matter is people, the WCHA is the toughest conference with the best players in all of college hockey. It is not a "glass is half empty" mentality to think we may have a few losses during the season. It is a realistic expectation, that some nights, some of these teams may get the best of our boys. Now if you say I expect the boys to put forth a 110% effort for every game, that sounds like a more realistic expectation than I expect them to win every game. For the record, I have never heard any of the coaching staff ever mutter the words "we should win every game."

Winning every game is a valid expectation? I bet even Hak would tell you that in a 40 game season that is not a valid expectation. We all appreciate the positive thinking though. I for one am not alarmed by this, they have played 2 bad games so far.

Yes, every team should cower in fear of the Might Fighting Sioux, who do they think they are? They have an awful lot of nerve even stepping on the ice with us. Don't they know we are supposed to win every game. What is wrong with these other teams not bowing down to us and letting us win.
