  1. Yeah, that was a good one. However, the end result of it got me suspended for two weeks.
  2. I'm betting this one gets shut down before all of the other stupid ones do. Anyway, you know who you are, grow up and support your team. They still had a great year.
  3. Sorry, but just because fans buy tickets and travel to games does not guarantee the team performs to their expectations or even wins. That's the chance you take. If you don't want to invest the time and money because you feel you might be disappointed, then don't. It's as simple as that. Blaming the team for your travel time and investment is very, very lame at best. Someone please close all of these stupid threads before !@#$ gets out of hand.
  4. Zero chance.
  5. Well, I'm going to have to start crappin' hundred dollar bills real soon, or I'll be wathing it from my living room.
  6. Again, for all of you taking the charter with no tickets in hand. Do not panic. I wouldn't waste time on EBAY, and razorgator, and places like that where you will end up paying all sorts of handling fees and shipping. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF TICKETS FLOATING AROUD BEFORE THE GAME. Believe me, you will feel stupid if you buy tickets online, and then when you get there see how many tickets are available. The reason I know this is from my own experience. If I should happen to go to Denver, it will be without tickets in hand. I have no doubt that I will be able to pick them up outside the Pepsi Center. Keep another thing in mind. If the Sioux should happen to win Thursday, there will be two other teams heading home. Alot of the fans from those teams leave as well, and sell their tickets right after their team is done. With no Colorado teams being in it, tickets for Saturday's game will be going pretty cheap I would think. Seriously folks, tickets are not something to stress out about. Just get on the bus and get to Denver if you can.
  7. From past experience I can tell you that tickets are not a problem. I went without tickets in hand last year and had no problem picking them up on my way into the Scottrade Center. For those of you who don't have tickets, just get on the bus, you will find them easily enough.
  8. I never intended for it to sound like that. I was just saying that he had battled some shoulder type stuff early in his career. At this level of cometition it's easy to fall behind if you can't train like everyone else. That's all I was trying to say. I'm all in favor of Koz playing with Osh and Duncs myself. Old Time Hockey brought up a good point earlier and I have to agree, Miller was most effective with Frattin and Martens in that sat. game versus Mich Tech. I liked what i saw from that line, I thought they generated plenty of chances that night.
  9. Lets not forget that Miller did have some injury issues early on in his career at UND. Not making excuses, but it seems to put a player a little behind in their development. I expect him to be a major contributor to the team, maybe in the playoffs this year, and especially as a senior next year.
  10. Hey Bob, I know how to handle these guys, but it might get me suspended again. I have to take the high road.
  11. Where are you going to be after this weekend? I would guess somewhere sulking after your team's "magical run" comes to an end at the hands of bc. Just like the last couple of years, an early exit from the NCAA tourney, and then you will have nothing to spout off about.
  12. Like Nate Hagemo? Oh, I guess he's no longer part of the gopher family, so it doesn't count.
  13. So you are an english teacher, BFD. I don't care if you can't understand what I post. The fact of the matter is you are wrong, you have no clue, and you are simply trying to get things stirred up. I'm reporting you to the moderators.
  14. Just some friendly advice, it might be time for you to quit posting. You are fighting a battle you cannot win here. For the record, I think Wheeler is just fine. However, one lucky overtime goal does not define a player's college career in my opinion. Oshie has flat out electrified crowds for his three years at UND, I just can't say the same about Wheeler. As fars as the off ice incidents, you really need to get the facts straight, they are really very minor in the grand scheme of things.
  15. I thought Hak said he put Koz on the third line to try and jump-start the offense on that line, not because he wasn't producing on the first line, that just wouldn't make any sense. Like I said before, he was the leading goal scorer until he was moved back to the third line.
  16. I agree, if Hak thinks it's best then so be it. I just wanted to point out that Kozek was the leading goal scorer until he got put back on the third line.
  17. Am I the only one who noticed Kozek was much more productive when playing with Osh and Duncs. Now, before anyone says "well, anyone playing with them should put up those type of numbers," keep in mind Kaip, Frattin, Trupp, Vandy, and Miller have all shared time on that line and not produced that much offense. Just saying, maybe Kozek was the right fit with those guys, and I wish he was still playing with them.
  18. Plus, Koz brings a much needed physical presence to that line, which allows the other two to have a little bit of space.
  19. All I can say is this, they better get their !@#$ together, quick, fast, and in a hurry. Next week there is no second chance. Oh, and please, put Kozek back out there with Osh and Duncs, they were much more productive with Koz on that line.
  20. Tickets for tonight are sold. Thanks.
  21. Still have two for tonight. Let me know if anyone is still in need.
  22. It does seem to make it a little less painful.
  23. Saturday tickets are sold. Still have two for Friday.
