I am impressed with the Air Force defense. They may have allowed a number of shots, but how many of them have been any real challenge? All the Gopher shots are from the boards or just inside the blue line.
The only real chances the Gophers have had has been on odd man rushes.
I was watching the game w/ my wife, Stafford is her all-time favorite player, and managed to record it to our dvr. I will put it to disk and upload it to the web and post it for everyone to enjoy.
My wife even wore her Stafford Sabres jersey I had boughten given her for V-day at the Mankato playoff series. She was excited that Diggler gave her props on her jersey.
I will be looking for Radke to answer the bell tonight to squash any ideas the Mavs players may have about trying to draw more fighting majors on the Sioux.
Radke doesn't have a fighting major yet this year as far as I can recall. If he does, then scratch this whole post as it won't be happening.
Just saw that BC and New Hampshire won, while BU was defeated by Vermont.
I also noticed that the BU loss hurt us in the Pairwise w/o the bonus. Still at #6 w/ the bonus.
I noticed that USCHO has a tool called the "Pairwise Predictor" Any idea when that is available for use? I'm assuming it's kind of like the conference prediction tool that is offered here on this site. Just curious as I'm sure there are pleanty of people who'd love to get their hands on it and figure out how the Sioux can end up with a #1 seed.
Believe it or not, I understand all of what you said.....and thank you for all the work put into working up these scenarios.
Like has said thousands of times before me, let's take care of our business and let the rest of the pieces fall where they may.
Thanx again for all the work!
If we do, in fact, get Mankato next weekend, what are the chances that we knock them out of being a TUC?
Edit: Sioux are in 6th all by themselves in the Pairwise as of right now (CC/DU game still pending.)
