St. Cloud is up 5-1 now in the 3rd period. Denver offense seems pretty much non-existent. Surprising since Trevor Moore and Danton Heinen were great last year.

I hope Janatuinen is alright. Talk about an amazing first half of the season. Sweeping the Bulldogs in Duluth? Wow! Let's keep the train rolling through the second half!

What is up with the Denver Pioneers? They are really struggling. Were up 2-0 and are now losing 5-2. Huskies scored 3 goals in a minute and 33 seconds time span. Not that I don't mind it but it'd be nice if they manage to win one against the Cloudies since the Cloudies are chasing us.

There better be supplemental disciplinary action against him for that hit. Talk about full intent and lining a player up. He made sure that the St. Cloud player got hit in the head. This is on top of that Brodzinski that plays defense for Minnesota. Who kept cross checking a Husky player in the back of the head and then acted like he had no idea what he did wrong. If you can't beat them, start taking cheap shots.

Learn and move on. There was no doubt that St. Cloud has a good team. Sucks to lose in such a lopsided manner score wise though. =\

yep. He was coughing up quite a bit more rebounds tonight too. That could be a result of how good St. Cloud's offense is but man, there were a couple juicy rebounds that Cloud didn't bang home.

Folks, that is what we call a great hockey game. Wow. Talk about intense! Tomorrow is going to be another tough one.

Nice to get a win and salvage a split. After watching Wisconsin this weekend, they definitely look better than last year but I suppose that wouldn't take much. If other teams underestimate Wisco, they'll be in for a surprise just like North Dakota was.

If Hrynkiw keeps playing as good as he has, do you take him out of the net if Johnson or Tomek are able to play? Right now, I think Matt is definitely better than Johnson. Tomek is the unknown of course since he hasn't played a game yet.

Exactly, this. None of the choices are ideal. Far from it. I find NoDaks the lesser of the evils though. Not like the nickname couldn't ever change again....

Hopefully Vermont has a robust network to handle the traffic they'll get from UND fans. I remember back in the WCHA days when UAA use to provide free webcasts of their hockey games. When UAA and UND played there were a couple of times their network got overloaded and the stream would crash.

CBS Sports Network is going to love that.

That's just asinine on those fans' part. Pretty sad to see such a line drawn in the sand with the bashing of different sport programs of UND. But with reading posts from Old Time Hockey, I can see the natural urge to troll back and bash the hockey team.
