  1. The Tech fans and announcers made it seem like they beat us for the national championship . While I'm somewhat sad that we did lose it's the first year in a long time for Tech fans to be excited about their team. They won fair and square hopefully they party hardy over the win so the Sioux can whip them tomorrow .
  2. Well that's the game. 3-1 MTU. They played a good game. We could've easily won that game as well. Just couldn't bury our chances. Lammy played another good game. Teslak played phenomenal for the Huskies as well. Hopefully we can rebound tomorrow.
  3. I had the same question as well so I just ended up emailing the Assistant SID of Michigan Tech and he replied back confirming that the series will be streamed on their website via Huskies Live.
  4. Agreed. 3 shutouts in a row! And the Sioux have not allowed a goal yet in the season even if one of the games was an abbreviated game
  5. And we're taking advantage of their mistakes! w00t GO SIOUX!!
  6. We're penalty plagued today.
  7. Yes, mine as well as a few others. Mine keeps pixelating and has a smudging effect I get brief glimpses of good picture then goes back to pixelating and smudging.
  8. I guess the 6 goals against MSU was our quota so the team has to ration the goal-making for a while
  9. Gosh darnit right when I was thinking this webcast was really good it starts pixelating for me in the 2nd period
  10. The quality is really good though. But it does seem like the camera is being handled by an amateur
  11. Really? That sucks. I've watched 3 opponents webcasts last season to catch Sioux hockey. The most excellent webcast was Denver's it was really good quality and never had problems. I forked over some money to watch the @SCSU series and it was pretty good as well and was worth the money. The only one I had problems with was the Alaska-Anchorage webcast.
  12. We had to return the favor to BC for coming to Grand Forks in the 2003-2004 season. The same goes for Northeastern. We actually played at BC and Northeastern in their home rinks in the 2004-2005 season. And then in 2005-2006 Northeastern played 2 games in Grand Forks. So now it's the 2007-2008 season and we had to finish playing each team a game respectively in their home rinks.
  13. I feel bad for all of the fans who attended the game. What a great home opener for Boston College..one that didn't even get to finish properly .
  14. Pretty good game so far. Our forwards look a little sluggish out there. Defense is doing alright it's just Gerbe is a speedy gonzalez. Phylis is playing really solid out there.
  15. The arena is obviously plagued with problems. Their just more pronounced when the Sioux come to play .
  16. I'd like to call it state pride. I wouldn't want to bleed Kelly green with you if that's your definition of a 'true' Sioux fan anyways . I'll cheer for whoever I want and I will be one of the Sioux fans who will be cheering for NDSU on Saturday. Also most of the time the only Bison S.O.B.'s that I know are mostly the messageboarding ones. All the Bison fans that I've met personally have been very nice people. Note: The only time I won't cheer for NDSU is whenever they play an athletic sport against UND.
  17. I'm quite optimistic for the first time with our game against Boston College. I like our chances this time around. I see the Sioux winning 3-1. As for Northeastern University I see the Sioux winning 4-0. None the less they are going to be great games and will once again be a good test for the Sioux.
  18. Well just got back from the football game...well I'm actually sitting in the car on the side of street waiting for the doors to the REA open up. So I decided to lynch someones wireless internet and come on here . Despite losing I think it was a great game even though like many have stated that phantom holding call on Chappels would-be touchdown was just bogus. That would've really helped with our momentum. As for Fruend all I can say was that he was really off his game. Most of the time he was either overthrowing or underthrowing the ball. For most of the game he was just plain inaccurate. Other than that everything else has really been analyzed quite well. I have to give big credit to UNO. There runningback is great. He was breaking tackles left and right and kept moving the ball. So congratulations Nebraska-Omaha I think for right now they are the clear-cut NCC champions. I hope however that the Sioux will get the chance of revenge in the playoffs...I like the UND's chances against UNO at their homefield especially come playoff time .
  19. I'm not to worried at all about Lammy. He just needs to shake the rust off and get ready for the Michigan State game. He really didn't have time to get into form either since he only got to play a period of the game and in the 1st there weren't many shots on him.
  20. The first Sioux Xtra webcast(against Humboldt State) was horrible you didn't really get to watch a quarters worth of the game. The second one against Central Washington also had problems freezing but was a bit better than the Humboldt State webcast. The Augustana webcast however was much better though I got to watch most of the game and got to see most of the big plays. It still however did have some freeze-ups but it was less frequent than the previous webcasts which is definitely a step up for UND webcast . So hopefully it's a sign that it's just gonna keep on improving. Hopefully you'll be able to watch it just fine!
  21. It's quite amusing reading the bickering that goes back and forth on who is better and who would win. Trying to up the other using statistics and by other means...seriously who cares we as fans can speculate all we want on who'd win but there's no point to it unless the teams actually play and settle it out on the field. Until that day ever comes please continue on with the useless debate of who is better for I'll continue to read it.
  22. Well when considering UND it depends on which Sioux defense shows up to the game . Also is it just me or is the D2Messageboard down?
  23. Wow, what a game! What a great comeback for the Sioux to win it! Defense really stepped up in the final moments of the game. Hopefully the Sioux will get some good practice and be ready for UNO. More so I'm excited cause I'll be attending the game . I just hope it doesn't turn out like it did the last time I attended a UND-UNO game . None the less great win Sioux!! Bring on Nebraska-Omaha!
  24. That is what I think as well. Offense just isn't getting things done and the Defense isn't helping either.
  25. Wow our Defense is like Jekyl and Hyde. You don't which one will show up to the game. >.>
