Ok can anyone help me figure this out? I hooked up the HDTV with the s video cable to the laptop and was able to see the videos on the TV from web like youtube and others off my hard drive but when the game was being broadcast live it showed the screen but not the live picture. The live video was on laptop but couldn't get it on the TV. I do use wireless internet but it doesn't seem to make sense to me. Any ideas???

Redfrog and Bob in Wisconson, thanks for the step by step guide to setting up the viewing from laptop to TV. I tested it with the youtube clip of Kiap's fight last night to check quality and it looks like it is going to work pretty good for tonight. Invited some friend over to watch too.

I don't care when it happens, but it needs to happen! When Commodore fought Alex Brooks at the old Ralph, Dean Blais said on the post game that it was a million dollar fight. Meaning that fight was security for a big payday in the NHL someday. I think Joe needs that as well. Nobody knows if the guy can fight??
Didn't he get in on some of the action last year either against UAA or MSU? I thought that pretty much everyone got in a little scuffle between those two games. I have them both recorded...I'll have to check.

so i assume marto goes in at D tomorrow night if hes on the trip which i assume he is with aextra foward and move genoway to forward with kaip being out tomorow night. or whatever forward is on the trip between forney and davidson gets in and marto sits again but i bet my first option happens

The webcast was worth the $6 just for the fight...and they did show it twice. That guy looked pretty weak when having to do something when the other guy is expecting it rather than a bunch of cheap shots.
Mavs coach not happy, Hakstal happy, says thats what needed to be done.

My video feed is pretty good. A few times it gives a still picture but mostly is streaming fine.

I don't have cable...DSL for internet. But yes Comcast is one of the cable providers available.

Yes there is another version--which is the one I thought I posted. I'll try to find the link to the real time version.

There are 2 on youtube both are sorta slow mo. one is a little better than the other. Maybe someone else will post another video of it.

The D was a wall tonight and not just the actual D-Men, but all the way through the line-up. They stood people up, got in the way, hit people and moved on. It was fun to watch. I really like it when they play physical. They seem to have much more jump and energy, and it really opens up the ice for them. Tech didn't seem to be coming at us half as hard as last night.
Dobson really got pounded tonight. He's going to be one hurting puppy tomorrow. Everybody was after him tonight and what was fun was they were all over him but if I'm remembering correctly, we didn't get a penalty off a hit on him (not totally sure on that, just the way I remember it.)
Didn't take Oshie long to put him on the ice...I barely realized the game had started then I see a Mich Tech player laying on the ice. Didn't Dobson give Finely that cheap shot last night?

Did anybody see goal at the end of the period in the UM and SCSU game? i didn't see it, but heard it was close.
Yes,
It went in just as time ticked to 0. Apparently the light switch is somehow connected to the clock so if time is out it locks the switch so it won't switch. But if Frazee would have his head out of his rear end it would be a non issue--it was sorta like the goal Bina scored on him last year.
So that was the end of his game for the night.

So now that the WCHA is saying the referee made a mistake at the DU/WIS game on Friday night and the goal should have counted. Does anyone know what they are planning to do about it? Or can they do anything about it? I watched the video on youtube and it looked pretty obvious that it should have counted 2 of the refs where signaling goal.

Well if this helps:
MN is the State of Hockey, and St. Paul is a great city to come watch hockey.
The Final Five is great atmosphere and a pretty good value for five games of hockey.
They serve alcohol at the WCHA Final Five....I am pretty sure no booze is allowed at NCAA events so there would be no suds at the Regional.
And this may or may not matter, the Final Five falls on Easter Weekend this year---and the WCHA tourney has practically turned into its own holiday at my house, so I'll be killing 2 birds with one stone this year! I think the choice is clear.
