Good luck finding new fans to replace those of us who feel alienated by this PC-driven name change. Based on the fact that they're sending out notices two weeks after the deadline to past season ticket holders asking them to renew, I think desperation has set in already.
New fans come in every year. They're called freshman. In 10 years students won't give 2 $hit$ what the name used to be.

What other sports? I wouldn't call averaging less than 3000 fans for basketball huge support. I thinks it f'n hilarious the Fargo Force out draw Bison basketball.

Apparently Western ND is more pro-nickname I hear? Still would be surprised if this got even remotely close at all. This is a wider spread than I was expecting.

Jerseys should have a baggy fit. Go back and watch some old NFL highlights from the '70s and '80s, they had it figured out back then. These new style tight jerseys with no sleeves look ridiculous.
Better yet. How about we go back to the 50's and wear leather helmets. They had it figured out back then to.

Zajac with the game winner in OT from Kovalchuk and Parise.
Pierre McGuire interviews Zajac right after game, ends it with "there are a lot of people in Grand Forks, North Dakota that are happy tonight" Zajac nods and smiles. Good stuff.
I love Pierre. For a Canadian he knows a lot about college hockey.

I didn't realize every game had gone to OT, I couldn't stay awake for a couple of the games at Phoenix and just caught the final score.
Have they said if that has ever happened before?
I think they said the last time it happened was 1952.

Green jersey looks just ok. The black jersey on the other hand, is atrocious! Terrible to see the black jersey that usually is praised so high at UND, suck so much. Disgusting!
The letters are way too small for not having a logo on it. There's plenty of space. Use it.

Well GPL crashes all the time. Jup should switch to a different host cause whoever he's with now sucks big time. GPL isn't a very big site, I really can't see it being down because of people flooding the site.
Doesn't it seem odd it only crashes when something bad happens to the Gophers. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

What a bunch of Buffoons, they say that UND is "not" their rival but they would vote against them by supporting the nick name ballot. Wow!!!
The NCAA should come down on the entire state for voting to keep the name and should ban all NCAA schools within the state from post-season play. It's a state issue, not a UND issue. If UND had its say the name would be gone.

That is just unacceptable at this level of hockey. Many of those players will be in the NHL soon. They need to start acting like it.

I propose anyone who was against the "Fighting Sioux" nickname has no say because they already got what they wanted.
