  1. you know what is going to happen? The Sioux probably don't have room for him and he will end up going to another team haunting UND by score a game winning goal against them in the Final Five or something simular to that.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up in St. Cloud, from what I've heard.

  2. Looks like no Hexy this weekend:

    UNDSID Jayson Hajdu (Twitter)

According to Coach Hakstol at media day today, junior RW Brett Hextall will not be available this weekend (undisclosed injury).

  3. Yes, it will be a streamed version of a local broadcast. So prepare for the homer announcer.

    OR

Turn down the volume on that media player, and open up Tim H. on another browser session and listen there. Only works if the two are sync'd time wise tho...

But TH is a great announcer to listen to.

You can usually pause the video to sync with audio.

  4. i got a asus x59gl series

it says i got a hdmi port on the back so coudl i unhook the one from my midcontinent box and plug it in to the lap top? how woudl sound work with that?

You should be OK. Worse case, you listen through the laptop. Or you can do what I do and stream both the webcast and also stream the audio. You may have to pause one or the other to sync them up.

  5. One more question, how do i get it to play on the tv? I no you need a special cable but wahts it look like? i have so many cables here i probably have the right one and jsut dont no it and would rather not go to best buy and fork over the 40 bucks

or could i unhook somtin from my midco box and plug it in to my computer?

Depends - Mac or PC? I have a Mac and use a DVI/HDMI cord. Yours may need the same or maybe a simple S-video. If you want sound other than from your computer, you will need a separate "headphone/Ipod" jack going to a stereo.

  6. St. Cloud is a St. Johns town. St. Johns football has a much bigger following than SCSU football. With the exception of last Saturday's game in the blizzard, St. John's has had much better attendance than UND this year.

The way I read it, tonight's vote will not determine whether St. Cloud drops football. Even if the the student fee increase fails, I'm sure SCSU will take care of its conference affiliation situation (i.e. lining up a Summit invitation) before it drops football. I can't imagine they would save any money by dropping football and then becoming a DII independent.

SCSU is also a suitcase college = low football attendance.

  7. i think a big factor in this series will be the fact that bemidji state hasnt played a game yet this year. their exh game got canceled and besides the green and white scrimmage i cant imagine they have played anywhere near game speed like the sioux have in 3 games. that being said i would call for a sioux sweep here anyhow but its just a side note coming into the series.

I agree. BSU has not had a true game (even an exh) under their belt. They knocked a little rust off during the scrimmage, but nothing even close to game speed and hits.

They haven't played a true game and the BREC yet, and I believe start practicing their this weekend. Throw that in with the hoopla for the Friday game, along with the fact the UND has better talent/size, and it will take it's toll.

6-2 Sioux Friday; 5-3 (ENG) Sioux Saturday. It will be an interesting crowd this weekend. There's a lot of UND Alumni in Bemidji along with casual fans. I'm a new BSU season ticket holder and will be cheering for the team wearing green ;-)
