There is a big write up in the Delta Skyclub mag about North Dakota so if you get a chance to fly read it.
Click here, then click on the "read current edition" on the blue box to the right. Article starts on PG 115.

Does anyone else have their audio fluctuate (goes low then normal, back to low, then normal, etc) during the hockey broadcasts on FCS? My audio doesn't fluctuate on FSSN, but my picture on FCS is better. I have PBTV in Bemidji.

And we're off: via Twitter

Kristo will be benched for the Manitoba game after getting cited for drinking underage.

Didn't they move it from 5 to 6 because of the womens game at 2 that same day?
From the UNDSID< it's a 6:07 start to allow more time between games.

Some new photos/blog about the BREC in Bemidji.

I finally came to the realization that the only way I'm going to see the games when UND comes to town is to buy season tickets, so that's what Im doing.
Im sure the Beaver fans around me will appreciate my Sioux gear in the section...
Hey, there'll be a few of us in Sioux gear with BSU season tickets!
-
Going to end up in Fargo for wedding anniversary. Can anyone recommend a "fine dining" option? Where would you take the misses?
-
According to Moose over on USCHO, BSU has to set aside 140 tickets for the visiting school (WCHA Requirement). He also stated that UND already has those tickets in hand, so you may want to give the school a call to check on the details.
Also, keep checking on StubHub. I know they have set up a site for BSU tickets and you just may find a ticket or two there. Not sure what they will be going for, but face value is right around $21 before any BeaverPride premium seating fees.
Hmmmm...... Maybe I should put my four seats up for auction......NAH!
BSU season tickets have not been mailed out yet, either. I think they're still in the billing process. Add the fact that many BSU ticket holders haven't had too much demand for unused tickets (with a few WCHA exceptions) and don't know how to go about selling them. In the past, most have either given them away or they went unused. It will eventually change, but probably not by 10/15.

That's a cool photo. Thanks for your service! Go Sioux!

Per Brad's Twitter:

Your totally right. That's what I get for not looking closely at the schedule.
Might not hurt to contact FSN by e-mail trying to encourage them to pick up the games. That way they'll know there is interest even if the Gophers aren't in the tournament.

Would it not make sense for Fox Sports North to purchase rights to games since of the 4 games that are going to be tape delayed (or on Syndication) 3 of them include St. Cloud, Bemidji State and UND? There is a lot of local interest I would think.
There are no Wild, Twins or T-Wolves games on Saturday, but the Wild play Friday night (SCSU/NMU). Come on FSN, show UND and BSU!!!! We don't need to see another Twins Classic or championship bullriding.

OK - the dreaded TV question. They show the the broadcast on ESPN 360 . . . now what?

Worchester here we come,
BC/Alaska and UND/Yale

My couch with my beverage and my big screen HD TV....I love FSN in HD I just hate not being able to use my surrond sound...every time I turn it on it sounds like Woog is right in side my house...then I freak out because I think Woog is in my house...then I remember it's just the TV...although it is nice to hear the checks and the pipe shots...but then I hear that Woog voice again in my house....
It's too bad than FSN North doesn't broadcast the games in HD though. FSN offered the WCHA to broadcast the games in HD if they would pay the additional cost, but they declined.

I played around and tried to find a scenario where UND would be in St. Cloud's regional. Couldn't do it, we're going to get either BC or Wisconsin....not sure which way to go there as I haven't seen BC at all this year and they are 12-2-1 in their last 15 and haven't lost in their last 8.
Moy is having a Bracketology chat on USCHO right now.

Saw this on USCHO about Ness - article not exactly shedding good light on the Gopher program

I'm in the unfortunate situation of driving FROM Minneapolis TO Bismarck on Thursday night. Its a family event I can't miss, but the timing sure bites!
Wrongway Feldman, anyone?
The toddler's bedtime dictates that we leave Mpls at around the same time the puck drops. I'm hoping to catch the end of the game on KFGO as we approach Fargo (which could be a treat in itelf as we hopefully don't encounter too many flooding detours), but does anyone know or have ideas of St. Cloud or Alex stations that might be broadcasting the play-in game? Or points of contact at UND Athletics or WCHA that might have a list of broadcasters? I'm searching the internets and not having too much luck as of yet. Maybe I'll try UMD athletics too.

well - we get our moneys worth for home ice. Can we trade in the ref squad?
I think Hak can. Russell did for Tech a few years ago vs UND.

if they were smart, they'd throw the wild on channel 45 in the twin cities and put the sioux/gohers game on fsn north. the wild have nothing left to play for, whereas the gophers can still make the ncaa tounament, but they have to win 2 of 3 this weekend to stay alive. i would think more minnesotans would be rooting for the gophers this weekend than the lowly wild.
Channel 45 has the MN high school tourney.

Dude, you gotta be kidding me...FSN North isn't broadcasting tonight's game? WTF?
MN Wild > Gopher hockey.

Click "Tickets" for ticket information.
Click "Fighting Sioux Club" for FSC information.
Thanks. So it's $355 per seat, and say for example "Varsity" level donation, an additional $330 per seat, totaling $685 per seat?

You wanna know what really grinds my gears?
Students who are charging ridiculous prices. If you have student tickets, they have to have an ID used with them...so the guys scalping these tickets are selling to FELLOW STUDENTS at these ridiculous rates. The Ralph was kind enough to let us buy 4 tickets per ID so that if you and some friends wanted to sit together, you could. However, many have taken advantage of this and bought 4 tickets planning on selling off two or even all of them. Personally, I know a handful of students who want to go to the games but cannot because of these people who bought up the student tickets and are now holding them hostage for outrageous amounts. Hopefully they can't sell them and end up getting rid of them before the game at face value, or else we will have a lot of empty seats this weekend.
Does anyone know what season tickets cost in the different sections + the necessary donation - or have a link?
