I just want to see them back. Alot could happen after we win it all on saturday, but what I am hearing we could have alot of players depart.I hope they are wrong.

Alot of people are still going to look at Ryan as a gopher and thats fine. I am going to look at Ryan as a local Grand Forks Kid and only wish him the best. We should have had Ryan and Grant at UND but a few people thought Grant didn't have the skills to play at UND and we all know what kind of years he had at minny. So don't hold anything against a kid or kids on a decision somebody made a few years ago.? GOOD LUCK RYAN

I don't know if their is any truth to this, but I heard that the gophs rented suite 49 tonight thinking that they will be drinking in victory. If this true it might be a dead night in suite 49. GO SIOUX

If you are going to go off of assists then panzer got the shaft. Assists are what they are. Putting the puck in the net is what the next level looks at.

Look at the stats. Ryan is in the top three in every major stat list in the country. IF Ryan played for the Sioux everyone of you would be saying he should get it. If Carle controlled the game so good why didn't he give his team a shot at the frozen four. I am a huge Sioux fan, but I feel Ryan's stats should have some say so it this decision.

HE PLAYED IN THE LAST TWO GAMES, WHERE WAS CARLE. RYAN GOT HIS TEAM TO THE REGIONALS.

I know that Ryan played for the gophers and I had wished he had played at UND , but he is a grand forks kid and I think it would be great to see him first win the HB award then move on and make a name for himself in the pros and we should be proud that he is from Grand Forks. Most of us know that he is a great kid and I only wish the best. GOOD LUCK RYAN

I have had the pleasure to work with Rob in many work groups and we are losing a class act of a guy and many of us are looking at the program and saying what the hell is going on.We just lost the guy that could make the D1 jump work. I know that their was alot of alumni that was passed off about Rob not getting the AD job I can only wonder what they are thinking now. Tom B and his current staff are going to have a hard time recovering from Rob's departure and if they think it is going to be easy GOOD LUCK!!!! I wonder what Kupcake and Phil H is thinking now.We need to look at the direction this program is going and look at it HARD!!!!! WE JUST LOST THE HEART OF UND. GOOD LUCK ROB I WISH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WELL.

Good point, but I have heard that ralph owns the right to the LOGO that is used at the ralph, if that is the case what happens if UND changes its name but keeps the logo. I beleive its the sioux name that the NCAA has a problem with , do to the fact that UND has no mascot. I feel that the NCAA is going rule against the sioux name ,and its going to go to court where KUPCAKE better fight it hard or its going to have a huge blow on UND and they will lose a ton of financial support.

I believe we the fan and UND will never see a dime from the Engelstads family.A nd I can't blame them if they don't, their has been enough negitive things said about Ralph and his past that I feel they just want to wash their hands with the everything. What Ralph did for the fan and UND was a wonderful thing and its sad that people have to report and say things about him in so many negitive ways. Everytime I walk in the ralph with my son to either play hockey or watch hockey I look at what this MAN has done for so many people, so in my eyes this man will always be a HERO to me and my family. No it's time we fight back and stop giving. If the people want the education ,then way is our biggest fight against our own students, staff and native american council on campus. This is not going to be a cheap fix, so the money needs to come from somewhere, if it's not from these program's do you feel we should drop programs from the paying man. I wish some student's that have got a great education and have taken that to their reservation to make life better for all , would send some letters to the NCAA and till their story, we don't hear about those stories.

If the name goes ,so should some programs.

Ralph was a very smart man, let's hope his group is ready for the battle. Make no mistake they knew this was going to happen someday. I think the board of higher ed needs to look at this deal hard, because the cost in a name change will be huge and I don't think they have the extra fund's to help support UND. So there is going to have to be cut's somewhere and , I feel they should start the cut's from the group's that don't support the history of UND. Let's hope the NCAA make's the correct move and we ALL can just move on. GO SIOUX
