UNO is probably the biggest rival in-conference, but Grand Valley State games the past few years have been the best by far. I don't think anyone has yet to replace the Bison, however.

I've heard it from a few guys that this year's schedule is going to be a tough one. The non-conference games are -Central Washington (A) -Winchester (H) -Winona State (A) -Western Washington (H) In that order, with Ferris State (H) mixed in with the conference schedule.

Overall, I don't believe the MIAA is all people make it out to be. Sure, there are some good teams in the conference, but not any better than the NCC, IMO. The thing we need to remember is that the UND 3-4 defense was designed to stop NDSU's old veer option offense, so PITT State should have limited success in their option game. If this is so, and the Sioux force Pitt to HAVE to pass, the Sioux should be successful. Pitt is used to dictating the flow of the game, if the UND defense can dictate, I think the Sioux will come out on top.

"With only full rides available at 1-AA schools (NDSU)" Actually, 1-AA teams can split their scholarship money up. 1-A is required to give fulls only. The only limitation on 1-AA teams is that they can only have I believe 90 players receiving football scholarships of any kind, whereas a D2 school could put 200 kids on $100 scholarships if they wanted to.
