I think its horrible to display their flags in the arena.
The same people want our nickname gone are going to have their flag in our arena??Our arena?

Got back from the women's game a little bit ago. The crowd looked better than last year, but that was probably due to it being in the Olympic Rink and not the main rink. The girls played well, and got the 2-1 win. The Bisons didn't score untill 29 seconds left in the game! We looked like we were really fast this year. They had a "practice" shoot-out at the end, which we lost. It was nice to see though.
Two in the box and the goalie pulled pretty hard to keep the Bisons off the score board.
A much faster and more skilled team. I know I will be watching them more this year if they
play as hard as they did today.

The Plaza in EGF is very cheap, but a dive. However, it's not far from the downtown scene in GF, and Whitey's and the Blue Moose are right there. Take a bar shuttle to the game. After the Friday game, hit the downtown bars and follow it up with the Red Pepper. Saturday, you can flip a coin between the Moon and Paradiso, but since Paradiso is mexican food, Sunday may not be pleasant on the ride home. Before the game Saturday, I'd do a bar and bus ride again. Follow your same routine, but after the bar I'd suggest spending some money on a cab to get you to the I-29 Truck Stop for an order of fries and gravy.
I agree with most of your statement cept about the Plaza. Sure they are not the Canad Inn, but a great mom and pop run
buisness.

IMHO, still holding out hope that an agreement is going to be made.

At times it's almost impossible to tell if some ndsu fans are really this stupid or if they simply take pleasure in pretending as if their head's are stuck in their asses. No one at either UND or ndsu actually believes that this is anything more than a short term solution to transition scheduling problems, pretending to be stupid regarding this only makes one look like a complete moron.

It seems IMHO, the SU fans are worried that the GW might become something more than it is.
IMHO, The GW is a combination of schools that have found away to play each other for the next three years.Nothing more nothing less.

I read a couple of articles about our new Great West rival and they have played Union. (NJIT won!!)
Would they be a better fit than Manitoba for an ex. game?
Our new Ad did say we need something to spark rivals!!

Riverman don't make blanket statements about "all the Bison supporters" as you say. Most I know have nothing but great respect for the GWFC.

UND leaves the NCC and the league is no more. UND joins the Great West and now all of a sudden I am reading how teams are joining so that the league has solid members and "contracts". UND might very well be following NDSU but they seem to have picked up a few pointers. UND seems to paying it's dues. And they seem to be putting their name out there. I liked how Fox news made some wise azz comment about now they should change the Great West name since the teams will be palying all over the US. Are you kidding this is great!! From coast to coast UND is going to be seen in all types of media!!
So have no fear my SU friends UND is in it for the long haul! See you soon!!

Here is another attempt to fix the problem. It wouldn't be effective for traveling across country, but may work well for in town driving.
