BC is indeed the Friday game. My friends in Boston are telling me there is a real buzz in the BC area about this game, great anticipation by BC fans. Should be a good test to see if the Sioux can rebound after the Sat. loss to the Rodents.

I hope so. But I have not seen a full 60 minutes by this team yet. I am optomistic of the season and the Coaches getting things together, that is unless we are still talking about this after the St. Clown series.

It has been said that the Parise / Bochenski combo took with them to the NHL about 25% of the Sioux team scoring from last season. From what I have seen so far this season, it may be about 25% on paper, but on the ice I would say the Parise / Bochenski combo took about 50%. There is no question that the #'s put up by others on the Sioux team were enhanced by Parise and Bucks. Who will step forward and lead this team in offense? Right now it looks like two freshmen. Does anyone else feel that lack of "edge of your seat player" on this Sioux team? For the past few years there has always been "an edge of your seat player" to watch. '03-'04 Parise / Bo '02-'03 Parise / Bo / Noterman '01-'02 Bayda / Bo / Skarperud '00 -'01 Panzer / Lundbohm / Bayda '99 -'00 Panzer / Goren / Lundbohm Who will it be in '04-'05?

I liken teams from the WCHA who come to Grand Forks to play the Sioux to teams from the NFL going to Lambeau to play the Packers. Green Bay packers coach Mike Sherman from said recently something along the lines of....everyone brings their "A" game here (Lambeau). I think the same holds true for the Sioux and having The Ralph as a home rink.

TFF! Sad but true. Also missing is the intensity...Sioux have not looked intense in the past four games.

Why is it the obnoxious Gopher fans can never make a positive statement about any team but the Gophers? Hey, we at UND and UM both have great programs to follow, keep your comments positive or stay off our UND site. We really do not care what Goofer fans have to say anyway. Nice win by the Gophers, they were the best team this weekend....now shut up go back to POI for another year.

Gophers look like they are in midseason form and the Sioux are still searching for a spark. Let's face it, lucky to get two points this weekend, lucky to get out of Mankato with points and really things need to gel on the offense of this will be a long and humbling season for the Sioux!
