This entire process is so embarrassing. Could not of messed it up any worse than they have.

No sweep at Tampa Bay but a 6-4 road trip is more than most expected especially after the debacle in NY. The series with Houston at Target will be a fun one. 2 teams nobody thought would be relevant at this time of the year.
-
I'm sure he will be a September call up. At least I hope he is.

5 game win streak and on the road no less. 37 games left. 19 at home and 18 on the road. Wild card can be done 5 game win streak and on the road no less. 37 games left. 19 at home and 18 on the road. Wild card can be done

Needless to say Sydor has checked himself into a rehab facility. http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2015/08/25/hurt-upset-embarrassed-sydor-checks-into-treatment-center/?utm_network=facebook&utm_post=4124839&utm_source=FB%20-%20NHL%20on%20NBC%20Sports&utm_tags=srm%5Bhockey%2Carticle%5D

Considering the AL is average this year they have as good of chance as any team. Texas is 5 games over .500 and currently the second wild card team. The Cubs are 20 games over .500 and the second wild card team in the NL. Twins need to take advantage of a down year in the AL.

4 game sweep of the O's in Baltimore. 1.5 games out of last wild card spot. Whodabelievedit.

One word. Resilient.

Darryl Sydor assistant coach for the Wild was busted for DUI with a BAC of .30. Also had his 12 year old son in the vehicle. He got professional help last summer for his drinking. Has tattoos on his knuckles of his sobriety date. Obviously he relapsed. Glad no one was seriously hurt or worse killed. I'm thinking he will get some pretty good jail time having his minor son in the vehicle. Is this the end of his career? I doubt it. This is a country of second and third chances. With that said I'm sure the Wild are in the hunt for a new assistant coach. Sad story for sure.

Love this guy already after reading this quote: "My whole coaching career I have thrived on the challenges that lie ahead in creating and building a hockey program. We must be patient in the build, but with the experience I have coaching professional athletes I know we will be a very competitive college hockey program. I live, eat and breathe hockey--it's the competitive nature in me that makes me want to win every day in life. The love that I have for this game cannot be measured. My heart and soul will be completely committed to the University of Jamestown."

University of Jamestown has hired their first ever hockey coach, Dean Stork. He coached for the NY Rangers affiliate in the ECHL.

Like the odds a little better now since they are buddies.

Looks like the water supply and the rise in costs to build were the main factors. Also doesn't look like they will build a new plant anywhere else anytime soon as they have invested in other plants to distribute their product. http://www.jamestownsun.com/news/local/3816856-chs-wont-build

That is part of it. I know the man that owns the "private lake". Went to school with his wife. Going to be interesting on how the city treats him now for the next month or so. Shoot the roads were paved and the pillars were in place for the plant. This really came out of nowhere and curious to know the main reason they backed out.

http://www.jamestownsun.com/news/local/3815992-updated-governors-reaction-chs-not-building-spiritwood Carl Casale, CHS president and CEO, announced today that CHS had decided against moving forward with its planned nitrogen fertilizer plant at Spriritwood. Pretty big blow to Jamestown. The plant was to have 2000 workers constructing it and 200 full time employees when up and running at an average salary of 80,000 a year. Lot of new apartments have been put up in town with more on the way but this may put those on the back burner for now.

Perspective on the situation: "Jon Heyman ✔@JonHeymanCBS a week ago, #twins held 2nd wild card spot. now they are 6th in WC standings 3:46 PM - 9 Aug 2015 · Manhattan, NY, United States" April 2 - under 500 May 13 - games over 500 June 6 - games under 500 July 1 - game under 500 August - 5 games under 500
-
Twins have the worst record in the AL since June 1 at 25-37. Lets face it they have had one good month where everything went there way. Other than the month of May they have been the same team as they have been the last 4 years. Terrible.
-
Soon to go under . 500 since the first of May. Getting smoked again today 8-0 and being no hit thru 7. This is not a playoff team in fact it looks like another 90 loss season could become a reality.

Congrats to Zach Johnson. Hell of a 4th round to get in a playoff and then win it. -

DJ with a 39 on the front and now is -4. The amateur Dunne is showing his nerves. Bogies first hole and sends his drive way right on the second. Spieth birdies first hole. This is going to be fun to watch unfold.
