  1. After seeing them play Jamestown in the WF jamboree I too am shocked. Haven’t seen them since but I agree their goalie must be playing lights out.
  2. Those countries need to figure it out too 2016 Finland -- 215,226 (7,174 per match) 2014 Sweden -- 144,268 (4,654 per match) 2013 Russia -- 110,175 (3,554 per match) 1982 (Bloomington, Minneapolis, Duluth as well as Winnipeg (two Canadian games) and Kenora) -- 86,941 (3,105/match) 1989 (Anchorage, Eagle River) -- 45,934 (1,641/match) 1996 (Boston, Amherst, Marlborough) -- no attendance listed other than the comment "Attendance was less than spectacular." 2005 (Grand Forks, Thief River Falls) -- 193,256 (6,234/match) 2011 (Buffalo, Lewiston) -- 329,687 (10,635/match) 2018 (Buffalo after 25 matches) -- 167,784 (6,711 per match). Obviously the semi finals and finals will effect the average but as of now if it weren’t for the outdoor game the average would be below the average when in GF.
  3. They truly do act like spoiled little kids at times

  8. Swedes score 9 seconds into the second for a 1-0 lead
  9. Sweden and Slovakia tied at 0 after 1. Shots were 12-4 Sweden
  10. That was a snoozefest
  11. This will be a snoozer
  12. Impressive goaltending display by the Czech goalie. Only reason why they are advancing.
  13. Finns and Czechs going to overtime tied at 3. Benn all Finns pretty much outshooting the Czechs 50-24.
  14. Czechs with an early 1-0 lead over the Finns
  15. Carson defending what he loves to do. http://cool987fm.com/carson-wentz-wont-take-your-crap-about-hunting-being-offensive/
  16. “Good to go. All looks good, and I’ve got the green light,” Parise pronounced after a hard-skating, physical New Year’s Day practice at Xcel Energy Center. “I’m really excited. I’ve been looking forward to this for awhile. I’m glad it’s finally here. It’s been a lot of work, but I’m glad to get a chance to play (Tuesday).”
  17. My 2 older brothers went to UND. My dad went to NDSU. I went to neither. Dad took me to many Bison football games when I was a kid and also UND hockey games. Again I’m all for anything North Dakota.
  18. Thanks. I would of never have guessed that this could actually happen.
  19. Didn’t go to either school. Why do folks get their undies in a bunch when some of us enjoy seeing success from either school? I don’t get it. That goes for any college in North Dakota. If Minot St is playing for a championship in whatever sport I’m pulling for them too.
  20. 11-1-1 in December. Best record in a month for any expansion team. They show no signs of slowing down.
  21. USA plays at 7 Tuesday.
  22. I thought the same thing
  23. Interesting The percentage of NHL players who are from Canada has fallen to 46.1%, according to data collected by QuantHockey.com. Meanwhile, the percentage of US-born players in the NHL is up to 25.7%, its highest level ever. The gap between the two nations (20.4%) is the narrowest ever. Just 16 years ago, the gap was 40.3%. Just three years ago, the NHL was still mostly Canadians, with over 50% of the players born above the border. If the trend seen over the last few years continues, the NHL could be more American for the first time by 2028. In 11 years, US-born players are projected to be above 30% and their Canadian-born counterparts are projected to fall below 30% of all NHL players.
  24. Say what. Crazy game with the right result.
  25. WTF. I leave for 5 minutes and it’s tied.
