  1. TOURNEY LEGENDS ... 71 YEARS APART After Prior Lake's Alex Bump scored five goals in Thursday's Class 2A state hockey quarterfinals (a 6-0 win over Cretin-Derham Hall), he was congratulated by the legend, John Mayasich, who set the tourney single-game record of seven goals in 1951 ... 71 years ago. The only other player to score five goals in one 2A state tournament game was Grant Besse of Benilde-St. Margaret's. He scored five times in a 5-1 win over Hill-Murray in the 2012 2A title game.

  15. So sweeping them means nothing?
  16. Having a disagreement with a buddy of mine. He claims if the boys lose tonight and Denver wins they share the Penrose. True?
  17. My best guess for Nenow would be playing juniors in Minot, Bismarck, or Aberdeen. Not quite ready for the USHL yet. Needs to put on some weight and muscle
  18. The officiating was pretty bad all weekend. I watched a lot of games in Fargo and the amount of times all 4 refs getting together on the ice to discuss a certain call was many. A handful of times they would put the wrong player in the box. Just embarrassing. I understand mix ups when my peewee team is getting reffed by middle school or high school kids but these were all seasoned officials. Shout out to Hunter Nelson of Jamestown being named Senior Athlete of the Year. Kid may be small in stature but he plays line he’s 6’3” and 220. Going to miss watching him play. Never took a shift off
  19. That was a clean hockey hit. Total BS

  21. Very disappointed in the Jays to say the least
