  1. FCS has these games on tonight. (The FSN locals will carry also)

    Sat. 01/31/09

07:00 PM FCS Central Minnesota State Minnesota

07:30 PM FCS Pacific Notre Dame Michigan

09:00 PM FCS Central Alaska-Anchorage Denver

  2. In Chicago you would have these options:

    1) Fox College Sports channels (a few games per year)

    2) NHL Network channel (a couple games per year)

    3) Buy a FTA satellite system for $200 and watch all the Sioux home games (best option for seeing the most games)

    4) Find a bar with a FTA satellite that will tune the games in for you. Then post on SiouxSports.com which bar will be showing the games so you have some other sioux fans to watch with.

    5) Buy the online video webcasts. Not as good picture as satellite but pretty good. You can buy adapters to put the video on your TV instead of watching the computer screen.

You can see what games are on which channels here: College Hockey Live

  3. Hi, I was thinking of checking out the infamous Joe Sensor's that I have read so much about. The one everyone goes to is the Bloomington location, right?

Yep. The Bloomingtom location will have the most Sioux fans.

I owe you a beer or two, since you saved me at least a hundred dollars in hotel charges in Madison.

  4. Don't know if this is in here yet but here are the odds on the Frozen Four:

NCAA ICE HOCKEY - Apr 10 THURSDAY, APRIL 10TH NCAA HOCKEY -FROZEN FOUR @PEPSI CENTER -DENVER CO

    3:00 PM

    81 BOST COLL - o5

  5. I live in Cheyenne, WY...about 90 miles north of Denver. Lots of places to eat and hang out in Denver...especially great if you are a microbrew fan. Check out this site for a nice summary of bars and hotspots:

I had my 30th BDay party at Wynkoop and had a blast. Also be sure to check out LoDo...tends to be the more college/just out of college crowd.

    Dave

It looks like LODO is actually the NorthWest part of downtown, the blocks between Pepsi Center and Coors Field, NOT South(LOwer).

  6. i think the worst thing about the ebay, etc. situation is that the tickets ARE being purchased for way over their face value, and not even very good seats. kudos to those who are getting what they asked, but that means you will have a tough time finding tickets at fair value before you get to denver. best bet would be to try the CC or DU message boards (do they have ones similar to ss.com?) but otherwise, like stated before, you may have to buy from scalpers in front of the pepsi center before the game?

At the Milwaukee Frozen4 I had extra tickets and gave them away before the game. There were kids running around with dozens of tickets that people had just given them becuase no one would buy them. The Badgers were in that tourney. The locals in Denver will just not attend these games, so tickets will be easy to get, but most likely upper level.

  7. An hour to go until I escape and begin the party in downtown St Paul. This weekend is great every year, but the beer drinking catches up with me by Saturday. Better buy some Red Bull to keep the energy level up for the SS vs POI game on Sunday.

  8. Main Street worked fine tonight for the MSU-UAA game. Would there be any reason that UND wouldn't be broadcast on there?

I get all BSU home games on Charter 17.

The UND @ Mankato series from a couple of weeks ago was carried by Mainstreet.

  9. Sounds like Cary Eades may be at this gopher hockey event on Thursday night:

ARE YOU A DIE HARD GOPHER HOCKEY FAN? IF SO, JOIN US ON CAMPUS AT STUB & HERB
  10. The local Duluth station WDIO did NOT renew the contract with UMD. So Bethany College, the same students who covered the Mankato game this past weekend are televising 6 games for UMD.

    Story on Bethany College TV

Now if we can just get someone to post a list of which games are being televised and which stations will be airing the games.
