  1. Thought this was worth sharing. The statistics he tells at the beginning are mind boggling. I had no idea. Here's to wishing him the best in his continued recovery from this injury. **EDIT-- Trying to get the link to work ** Jesse Martin speech
  2. Wow dude chill out. There is a difference between heckling and drunk idiots yelling stuff and being physically assaulted because of what you are wearing.
  3. Doesnt anyone wanna be my friend?!?!?!?

  4. We had a good time in Wisconsin. Had some hostile fans but thats expected in every visiting city. We had a security guy come up to us on Saturday night and tell us they were actually watching this Wisconsin fan "He was being obnoxious, vulgar, middle fingers towards us etc..." and said that other Wisco fans were complaining about him as well. He was a season ticket holder and if he kept it up he would lose them. Anyways it turned out to be a great hockey weekend. Sorry to hear about the punch, thats pretty low in any book. This might explain a little of it though Wisconsin man shoots TV over Bristol Palin 'Dancing with the Stars' performance | Grand Forks Herald
  5. Is there any Sioux hot spots in Madison? How about fun bars in general? Looking forward to a fun trip and with a home football game there on Saturday I am betting it will be pretty wild.
  6. This will be my first trip to Madison. Pretty excited about the trip. There is also a home football game on saturday so I think State street will be pretty crazy (I've heard its pretty fun all the time). I dont think Mario will have to sit out a game, The hit was on my end of the ice but I didnt see it at all. Generally for checking from behind they dont suspend players unless it causes serious injury or is a blatent cheap shot.
  7. Couldnt agree any more. What a classy move by Martin. Keep your spirits up and get well soon.
  8. I have found the two tickets as needed. Thanks to all who sent pm's. Looking forward to a great weekend of hockey.
  9. Im looking for 2 tickets together for Saturday's game. They are for an out of town Sioux fan for their first game at the new REA. Please PM me or reply on here if you have any for sale.
  10. Got mine. Pretty excited for my first trip to the series in Madison.
  11. A tough loss but still a proud Sioux fan here. Hats off to the Seniors and we will miss you. Wishing you all the best in what the future holds for you.
  12. It was great at the Final Five. Cheering after the games. From our Corner in the suite level there was a good entrance where we started many Lets Go Sioux! chants. Proud of the Sioux fans last weekend. We were a loud force in and around that stadium.
  13. Anyways... my ranting about mile high ticket prices is done. Here's to a good hockey weekend and an enjoyable Final Five.
  14. Ahhh yet you are wrong. Coaches club my friend. Under 30 alumni discount is nice.
  15. Ahh warmup pucks arent the same. Ok ok... I'll take $100 per puck and throw in my parking pass.
  16. Yep, 7 years ago we dressed up as ref's for halloween. Made the website for quite some time too. And yes I also got a puck everygame, the benefits of being friends with the linesman. I'd still be willing to part with quite a few of them if anyone is interested. Lets say... $166 per puck per night. Sound reasonable? Zach Parise... among others.... did likely score a goal with one of them.
  17. If you learned how to read numbnuts, you would know that I am not trolling for a $20 ticket, as stated earlier I am a season ticket holder. I think its disgusting that people post their tickets for outrageous amounts. I hope they dont sell. Its an opinion that I like to make public. I think the arena's prices and "corporate status" already push enough people away from the game, why push more away attempting to make bank on your tickets. Someone offering to buy your tickets because they know your going to be gone is a tad different then knowing you can go to the game yet you post your tickets online for outrageous amounts. Again do what you want with your tickets, I hope they dont sell. Im not and havent claimed to be a better fan, I would just prefer that the arena be full of actual Sioux fans instead of big-wigs with cash who need to up their "social status".
  18. Im not saying that you have to take face value, and if someone knows your gonna be gone and offers you $100, $200, $500 for your tickets then sure take it. What I am saying is that posting your tickets online for $1000 when you can be at the game is ridiculous. If you have tickets and plan to go to the game, then go, if you have tickets and arent gonna be there, don't be an greedy A$$hole, sell them to a Sioux fan for a resonable price. If you have extra's, sell them to a kid outside the gate, it could be his first game and who knows, maybe he'll be making a decision in the future where to attend or play and will remember that one game.
  19. Oh I have season tickets as well. Its the people trying to charge $1000 that irritate me. Either go to the game or sell them at a decent price to Sioux fans, quit trying to make bank on them. I've sold extra tickets numerous times at the door, to many games including Denver and Minnesota games for face value many times, mostly by having people walk up and ask "how much" and saying "make an offer". $1000 for tickets this weekend is just a stupid price to ask.
  20. People jacking up their ticket prices are money hungry a$$holes. They dont deserve to possess those tickets.
  21. You are insane and greedy. $1000 really? Wow Im laughing out loud.
  22. What is McLeods email. Its time to end this bullsh*t that he pulls all the time. Really Marvin isnt suspended. This is a joke and its time everyone stands up and gets him out of his position. He is turning this league into a joke. Other leagues laugh at us because of officiating and how its run. This is complete trash. A Fu$*ing joke. Unbelieveable.
  23. My traffic comments were a joke. The fact that traffic was diverted didnt need to be in any article. If my neighbor was throwing furniture and glass onto the road... i would probably sit there and laugh out the window. If someone wants to destroy their own stuff, so be it. Im sure Finley can afford to replace them. Its only an issue if it gets to the point where other peoples property gets damaged, if it makes a mess that they do not clean up, or if it disturbs the peace. Im guessing the cops were called because of the noise. Im not saying what they did was smart, but its pretty humorous and really isnt as big of a deal as people are making it out to be. You would probably be surprised at what the GF police get called for in this town.
  24. Exactly. Ya its embarassing and im sure Frattin will sit a game or two and will take some heat for it, the Captials might sit Finley down and tell him to clean his act up as well, but its not murder, and its not the end of the world.
