I'm sure there were Sioux fans who did the same thing when the Bison beat Montana, but why are there so many NDSU people who are dismissing this game? It only makes them look like complete tools. Both games were huge wins, anyone who tries to say one is big than the other is either blinded by their hatred of the other school or just being silly.

Nah. If the Bison win, Grandpa Sports will write an article saying that NDSU has an unfair advantage over the Gophers because they are I-AA. Kinda like how UND, SCSU, tUMD have an unfair advantage over the Gophers in hockey because they are DII.

How assinine is it that USD gets equal points for beating UMC as UND gets for beating UNI? Or at least something close to that. Didn't the Bison miss the playoffs the year they beat Montana partially because of something like this? Had they played Moorhead or some other crap team, they would've made it.

I don't understand the hatred towards NDSU fans by some people. I hate NDSU and love to see them lose as often as possible, but when they beat Montana I was happy for them. Some people take the UND-NDSU rivalry way too seriously. I called my huge NDSU fan uncle up last night to gave him crap and we talked about this exact same thing. It's one thing to give good natured ribbing and smack talk, it's another thing to be bitter and mean-spirited about it. It's just a game.

I don't see Winona State scoring more points in the Alerus then UNI did in the UNI Dome. If the Sioux play like they did yesterday, the Warriors don't stand a ice cubes chance in hell. Who are Winona's key players? Sioux 31 Warriors 13

So how many season tickets did UND sell today? Will there be alot more people at the Winona game because of this game now?

It's not that UND will overlook Winona, it's more that UND could have a huge hangover from this game. This is one of UND's biggest wins in their history. Probably the biggest one since they beat GVSU in 2001.
