Well that's true to a point but if a team can make 1 or 2 passes it's a good open look and sometimes it comes 5 ft from the basket. And yes Greyson and Kraft aren't spectacular on defense but couldn't be any worse than the embarrassing axx kicking for the last 25 min of that game letting a team torch ya with good looks over n over. And the trap has worked pretty good but when you do it every single time and the other team is torching you then it's time to try something different. But that's also why I don't see Greyson getting any better offers to go anywhere bigger. His defense needs improvement and has outperformed offensively I'd say but if put someone on him that's longer and quicker all the time and I don't think he would have as much success scoring.

That's my main issue is that we never try anything else during a game if it's not working. I mean when going from up 9 or whatever to down 10 maybe try a different defense or even at that point u go mono vs mono n play defense and make it point that your guy isnt gonna score on you.

Yep. Live or die by the 3. The problem is it seems like we can't help ourselves even if they aren't falling we just keep casting away instead of maybe working for some drives or midrange shots. And trapping the ball is great when it works but if a team like ndsu is red hot from 3 n u keep trapping after 2 passes they have great looks n seems like we can't deviate ever. Cast 3s no matter what and trap no matter what.🤷‍♂️

Yes and Schmidt did a great job on the defense but he's also the head coach and shoulda made some adjustments on offense this yr as well and had some clock management blunders as well but I'll give him some slack as a 1st yr head coach but hopefully he makes the corrections needed this off season which I'm fairly confident he will but not 100%

Either way is fine cuz ndac thinks they should be there in place of jmu as they think they are the same so then if get walked would be the same as ndac getting walked in their pimple brains

Doesn't need anything when run qb keeper up the gut on every 3rd or 4th n short or once in awhile throw in a 30-40 yd bomb instead

Was a travesty Deng wasn't used more this yr. Just throw the fn ball up a foot or 2 over his head and he would out jump anyone defending him. I coulda still completed passes to him at my old washed up age even.

They were still the lowest ranked team in playoffs and had to play an extra game last week on road n then travel again this week and the spread was 23.5 so say whatever makes u feel better but still the biggest choke job in fcs playoff history
