Hopefully. There is a lot of playmakers that don’t make the news.

I forgot about that game.

All of them.

It’s not going to be easy.

Obviously we have a very inexperienced line. All around 300 to 330#. Great opportunity for young guys to step up: LT: Becher and Thaden both stepping up and have the frame. Thaden is quick being he was a TE. Might be a bit early to be starting but their time has come. LG: Kuntz and Folland, Kuntz certainly has the size and put in the time and now a senior. Hopefully he does well. He was behind Ventrelli and Kilty to learn. Folland they say is built like a brick house still at 330 lbs after 1.5 years on the team and was at center in spring ball. Apparently he is one guy our defense hates to go against. Sounds tough and mean. Center: Buxa and Gorder. Buxa was highly recruited and has good size. Gorder has experience which is great. I wish last years center the best but the snapping issues were a nightmare for Tommy. This position might be an improvement. RG: Olson, Cariveau and maybe Gorder. Olson does have an extra year under his belt. Good size and well talked about. He has to be hungry to play. Cariveau good size and young. Gorder you would think will fill in as needed. RT: Anderson and Teeter. Anderson has great experience and is following in Ventrelli’s steps of great size and technique and never making a mistake. He has played along young linemen before. Teeter we haven’t heard much, he started in D2 so it’s interesting he is where he’s at. Great back up and hopefully does well. Let’s see how fired up they all are and maybe it’s the beginning of something good. It would be fun to see the line develop some knock down power and push the line.

In a way Simon and Quincy can do it all. And in the absolutely stacked backfield and there is a lot of options.

Who knows what goes on. Wouldn’t be the first time there was a sports conflict. QB order: Romfo, Kaminsky, Hentges, Sulik. First 3 sound like they are right there. Romfo we will know soon enough. Kaminsky looks like a college QB and coaches son, quick and good arm. Hentges apparently looked really good with the offense but was #4 so limited look overall. Coaches kid and can really move and throw it sounds like. Sulik needs a couple years. I think Quincy should play in this situation some. Maybe a grinding drive or two or end of half type offense. He’s such a man when he’s in there and his short yard plays are so devastating for the other team. Plus the other team will have to practice for his plays. How does a defense adjust for Romfo and Quincy? That’s an interesting concept. Does he ever throw deep in practice still?

Not defending anyone but the players that have left since December would be one heck of a FCS team.
-
Sulik needs a couple years.

You would almost assume so. He has the height and left arm and great touch. I assume his football IQ is high. I bet he has a bright future yet.

As always it would be nice if us fans knew the story. Certainly wish the best for both sides Trey and UND. Last year when the QB struggled there was nothing but crickets. Then the center couldn’t snap the ball half the time and made national TV for bad snaps and there was no changes and just about the whole O-line two deep left during and after the season. It’s not easy to keep everyone happy but this is going to be an interesting season.
-
Considering last year about 10 of the top players left after the season this is interesting.
-
I assume he is the one I heard is doing well. Definitely opportunities. I hope they keep them all motivated and competitive. The playoff loss was largely not being able to get to the QB and we made him look like Patrick Mahomes.
-
With the loss of McNaboe one would think 2-3 ends will see lots of action there alone. Tekin and Vig look similar and seem fast just need time to grow and hopefully prove themselves this year. Would fun to see Eckheart and Schultz get some aggressive pressure on the ball with our veteran big guys Beach and Orlando side by side in the middle. Run the 3-4 defense on 3rd down only.
-
Yes he was hampered by injuries last year. Healthy and strong this year.
-
They seem to like size in some areas and not size in others.
-
Problem with 3-4 defense in this division is your line backers have to be Lavar Arrington and Lawrence Taylor. Looks like we have a great group of linebackers but need more penetration on defense while stuffing the line with at least 4 lineman.

Great to see the OC appear to have brought competition to the QB position and hopefully to all other spots.
