Who said the rivalry didn't exist anymore? Apparently some Bison fans were having some fun on campus.

Sioux close out the DECC

I have seen it stated by a few different sports reporters that CSU Bakersfield is NOT being considered for the Big West. It sounds like Hawaii, DII UC San Diego and San Jose State are the only schools really being discussed for the Big West. I find it strange that CSU Bakersfield is being completely blackballed like they are as there are 4 CSU schools along with 4 UC schools and then Pacific in the conference. You would think they would be considered at some point, at least slightly. It sounds like they aren't even remotely being discussed. And at what point does the school consider dropping back down to DII?

During the 2nd intermission of the SCSU hockey game on Saturday, Pres. Kelley stated that he was good friends with the President of Portland State (if I remember correctly) and that they were working on getting the two schools together on the football field. I wondered if he meant they were maybe trying to work something out for next year because the following year we will be in the Big Sky and the presidents wouldn't need to be "working" on getting the teams playing. I know that the Big Sky is going to try help UND get a few BSC games in basketball next year, I wonder if they maybe aren't trying to get a FB game worked out.

UND 44 KSU 71 2:56 left in 2nd. The FSN announcers are giving alot of love to UND and our D2 history as well as the other Dakota schools. They were talking about how dominant the NCC was in D2 and how they believe the Dakota schools will be successful at DI.

UND. At least that is the rumor I am going to start. I am surprised he wasn't considered more for the UM job. He openly wanted the job.

Tough loss for the ladies today. Wisconsin is definately the team to beat in the WCHA. The ladies played with them yesterday and through the first 2 periods today. But UW just proved to be too much. UND 2 UW 6 Final.

A couple of notes from the game. UND led the entire game. EMU tied it up twice but the Sioux never let them pull-ahead. UND was led by Troy Huff with 11 points and Patrick Mitchell with 10. They were the only 2 to hit double figures. The guys only shot 29.8% from the field. The Sioux were 21 of 26 in free throws in the 2nd half! It was hitting them down the stretch that won us the game. Monmouth beat EMU with a last second three to win 64-63 on Friday night. Idaho just beat Monmouth 69-66 but Monmouth was nailing every 3 they threw up in the last 5 minutes of the game to make it a close one at the end.

Good to see the guys get a sweep over a team that always plays us very tough.
