    UND TO D1-AA ?

To play the Bisons in the same league would be an attraction. But what other possibilities there?
  2. It does seem bizarre to charge 5$ for the hockey but not for the football games. Is there an administrator to explain this quirk or produce some logical explanation?
  3. Thank you, tony, U2B1 and ScottM. I guess this was a naive question but I have never had the pleasure of a visit before. You've been so kind with your helpful information. I hope you are having a Happy Fourth of July!
  4. I am totally at sea, as usual. Does the University of North Dakota have a dress code like some universities do? I have been told that Midwest USA is more strict regarding what one might wear, ulike the south. What do people normally wear on the premisses? Appreciate any hints. Thank you.
  5. How about the Marquette University Exploring Priests?
  6. Fran

    Grand Cities

    Grandness is, after all, relative.
  7. Thank you, BigGray Ant and jimdahl! I appreciate it!
  8. Does anyone know of a web address that carries UND football or hickey scores that posts results on the same day. Most sadly, I am too far away to utilize the radio or the telly. I would be most appreciative of your kindness in suggesting this. I am into instant gratification. Frannie
  9. "The Strip" suits.
  10. In my opinion, the team/school nickname should be considered in its entireity and "Fighting Sioux" should not be considered offensive as it conveys a proper spirit of competition and pride and forecfulness. Does anyone object to the woefully-mispronounced University of Notre Dame calling itself the "Fighting Irish"? Or the LSU Fighting Tigres? Maybe if teams had nicknames like "Incontinent Nebraskans" or "Sexually Ambiguous South Dakotans" or "Lazy, Good-for-Nothing Whatevers" then people might take offense. Would people object to UND calling its team the "Pacifistic Sioux"? I know, I know. I'm splitting hairs.
  11. When the Biiison come crawing back, in a few years, will we let them back in the conference? Could be perhaps after they have gratifyingly groveled, no?
