Woulda been clutch to not snap the ball into the ground every other play, have more than 41 rushing yards, not go 4-13 on 3rd downs, not get sacked 6 times, not go 0-2 on 2 point conversions. Lots of things could’ve gone better. The missed extra point sucks, but not even in the top 5 of issues from that game.

Seems like an issue that should’ve been addressed in the last 10 years. Can’t be living in the past because of a kick made 20 years ago.

Decided to take a look at some of the numbers since everyone seems to be so concerned about our extra points. Stevens is 74-76 97.3% on his career for XPs. That is the same career percentage as Adam Vinatieri and Mason Crosby (almost the same as Matt Prater 97.4%). Last year in the NFL there were only 5 kickers who had a XP% higher than 97.3%. Just to put things into perspective, obviously nobody wants to see points left off the board but I think we need to put the pitchforks away and trust he gets it together. I’m confident he gets it back going this next Saturday and hoping to see some more success on his FG attempts as well.

Exactly more about creating a more exciting game day experience and this seems to be something recruits will get excited to see.

They definitely make them still, doesn’t have to be the classic boom box either they make portable speakers with lights and everything. Plus they all just plug in the charge so not like its a hard thing for a student manager to be in charge of.
