Thanks for the info everyone! Drove by it the other night and knew they were doing construction all summer but didn't know when it officially opened. It looks really nice from the outside!

The Olive Ann is new right? When did that get finished/open up? Anybody stay there or know anybody that has?
-
I agree. The guidelines should be enforced. Including for personal attacks. There seems to be a lot of that going on lately. It even worked its way into the BB pages as well, unfortunately.

I think it had to be!!!!

UND has offered her. I’ve heard she has dreams to play at a bigger P5 school. Not sure that will happen though as SDSU is her best offer at the moment. I think she would be a realistic possibility that UND could get her to come to GF
-
Not much. But one can dream I suppose
-
We have offered her. She isn’t coming to UND. She will go to a P5 team. Already has offers from Louisville, Oklahoma, TCU, Purdue, Wisconsin, and other high major teams.

You read my post correct. @Sioux95 is just digging for something that isn’t there. Back to the actual conversation, I’m glad to hear Bo is back. I hope we can use him more efficiently with a different QB and different offensive gameplan. We’re going to need him to step up even more next season!
-
I love this! You’re the man!
-
Man would it be funny if the schedule comes out next year and we see NDSU on it 3 times
-
I'll believe that when I see it. #DecadeByDecade

I like the idea of this being the first play against the Pilots. We need BJ to get back on track. This could be a tricky one at home if him and Treysen both don't play well again.
-
Will we be in the portal to replace the best kickoff kicker UND has ever had?
-
Shoot you got me!! Forgot to switch accounts again. Dawhoops....

Not going to lie. Didn't read a word of that novel. Like GoodGood said, I am absolutely in favor of kids having the ability to be paid what they are worth and make decisions that are best for them.

College sports aren't sustainable for all student athletes no matter if there is NIL/the transfer portal or not. The majority of college sports lose tons of money every year. Unfortunately a lot of those sports will have to be cut by schools. That's unfortunate, but that's just the way business works. And college/college athletics is a business first. I really don't think NIL has that much of an impact on the long term sustainability for all student athletes.
-
And the same people that are against NIL are old people that are mad money like this wasn't around when they were college aged. The same thing can be said both ways. Even if this is "completely unsustainable long term", what is the other option? Make kids play for free again? Tell a kid they aren't allowed to do what is best for them?? That they aren't allowed to be paid what they are worth?? But coaches are allowed to do exactly that? Yup that makes a whole lot of sense. I just don't understand the argument of a full grown adult being mad that kids are allowed to make money and make decisions that are best for them.

For sure an upgrade from the Summit last year. Hopefully UND can keep climbing the rankings!

That's why you have other players on the roster or you utilize the portal and fill in that spot once Texas takes a player. If UND gets a player for 2,3,4 years or whatever it may be that is good enough that Texas wants them and is willing to pay big money for them, I would say that is absolutely a win for UND and its fans. It means that we got to watch a great player for a few years. At the end of the day, I'm not sure how I could possibly be mad at a kid fulfilling their dreams of playing very high level football and making life changing money at the same time.
-
Don't get me wrong, he does some head scratching things at times lol but he never lacks confidence! Shooting 43% from 3 on 4 attempts a game! Wish we had that this year!
-
Is this a bad thing? I don't see an issue with this if I'm being honest.
-
As much as I hate to say it since he is a NDSU player, but I like watching Jacari White play. He plays super hard and with ultra confidence in himself. Really fun to watch! Wish he was on our team.

Don’t forget about the “insight” that we will then be fed……

Thanks for thinking of me! I'm glad my name pops into your head! Unfortunately, I missed out on NIL opportunities by a few years so wasn't able to capitalize on that. The school I played for has an NIL collective set up for all student-athletes. Have no insider info on how much money this gets, or how much any of the student athletes make from it. Sorry I am of no help there. Either way, I am fully in support of allowing these kids to be paid what they are worth.
