I've felt we've been getting burned in transition or the D have been getting walked all year but Spunar has bailed them out. Every D man too-Emery noticeably in the beginning of the year, Liv several a couple games in a row around Christmas, Wiebe, everyone. But I have no evidence of this and am likely just losing it.

Makes sense. No idea if this is accurate but it has seemed to me all year that we give up 3-6 clean breakaways every game but it somehow hasn't burned us yet. Nervous we get Gerbe'd if it continues to happen in the tournament once we have to face Plante/Hage type talent, probably starting in the second round.

Older half of the forward commits seems pretty clogged with guys I don't expect to provide much point production their underclassmen seasons (other than Simpson)

Unless your St. Cloud C- should be more than sufficient to beat anyone in Atlantic their best team any given year is like an ok Bemidji State team

Not feeling good about this weekend, I’ll guess loss and tie. Duluth will probly only need to play well on one side of the puck to win. For us, defense will have to refrain from their tendency of getting burned in transition all night long, which I think they are capable of. But to get a win I think the offense will also have to score 3 goals, and I have no confidence in that. Duluth has a top-5 looking first line and we don’t have a first line

I think your right that about Verhoeff maybe being a detriment in DuPont's eyes but hopefully the staff makes it clear to DuPont he's #1 from the first day. I think we're gonna get him

I ask this seriously-Is there a reason on power plays everyone at that the point plays their off side? I think it started with Gaber, which worked for one season then cratered for two years. Why are we eliminating the possibility of one timers? I’d guess there’s about a 50% chance that a loss tomorrow eliminates us from the tournament. Great

I agree that gophers played well and we didn’t, but I’m not sure if the gophers are any good they’ve already lost to Michigan tech who I still think of as the doormat. This teams offensive prowess at a minimum is unproven so idk how questioning it could be considered incredible
