Can’t have culture without an “all in” lock room, day after day, week after week, etc

I believe I do, but will never throw shade at any one person. Remember, coaches/players are not here to fail. They all have great intentions. But, with all the money being throw at program, coaches/head coach know exactly what they have signed up for……. Are they, (coaches/staff/players), interested or committed in/to excellence? (There is huge difference).

I’ve have been saying this for a while now, yes. And if they can get it turned around, great…… but will never get turned around with current state of locker room/coaches/leadership mindset. Everyone needs a hard look in mirror.

The culture we all once knew/expected is absolutely DEAD. Accept it until there is change.

Augustana gave the blue print on how to handle this team……Now, on top of that, a very divided locker room and everyone from top to bottom questioning everything they do on a day to day basis, NCAA regional birth in Fargo is an extreme stretch. ’22-23 repeat

No need to elaborate, the product on the ice should tell you what you need to know. Ask yourself this….if this was an “all in” mentality, would we not have seen better results than we have seen thus far? Especially with all returners and “ high end talent”. You have a guy with a C and an A , whom for argument purposes are 4th liners, a coaching staff that is not on same page and a constant throwing darts at dart board in the portal, in hoping things work. The “culture” speech we all hear from the guy is charge is a dead narrative.

I’ll say it again…..repeat of ‘22-‘23 season…..pre season talk of “tired of hanging white banners”, slow start, divided locker room, rash of injuries etc. This current team was embarrassed by Augustana to start things off and has been a struggle since.

With the pile of injuries over last several years, maybe it is time to look for a new strength/conditioning coach? Are the injuries related to the training or lack of certain training? A fresh/new set of eyes on things might be good. Same eyes/mind been in place for a very long time. Just a thought.

I am getting the feeling we are in a similar season like was had in ‘22-‘23……

The scouting report is not that difficult on how to compete with UND…..problem is, Berry will never adjust…”we are UND, north, south, heavy team with culture”…….pretty easy to adapt if you are an opponent.

If anyone thinks that effort/result was acceptable, then I’m sorry. This effort tonight is 100% on coaching staff/leadership group. A top five team on paper just got embarrassed at home by a second year program. That second year program showed, grit, determination/structure and unselfish play.

Former dman, Brady Ferner, will visit the Ralph on Oct 5th as a member of the Augustana coaching staff. Very quick rise to the D1 coaching ranks.

This team has been “soft” all year…

Everyone relax. First regulation loss since when?.?.?.?..?. I remember an 8-1 loss at St Cloud a couple seasons ago and everyone was their minds………..it’s one game. Sun will come up tomorrow.

It’s early in the season, yes. But the same three headed monster continues to surface, just like it has over last couple of seasons…..even strength scoring and untimely penalties. UND has been very subpar in these areas. I’ve said before, the forwards don’t score on a regular basis 5x5 and it needs to change or close games will continue to go other way. At some point something has to give. I have said many times to a few, if UND is above .500 after 10 games, I would be surprised and happy. Will this team make the NCAA tourney, yes, but the swagger is not quite there yet for this team to be elite. The first 10 games will tell a lot, I like this group. Lots to be excited about, locker room leadership much better than last year, but certainly a ways to go……
