My biggest concern with Jax was that he’d be Brad 2.0. Everything that’s happened since he’s gotten hired, every bit of information about their relationship, and now this? Consider that worry eradicated.

Understandably some may feel let down because of the reaction to Chyzyk's post making it seem McKenna level, but this is a great get, exactly what the team needs!

I've fully accepted that he's not coming here. It's just not happening. Never in a system that rewards those with the deepest pockets.

A friend of mine who's at the FF just saw Erik Martinson and Bryn Chyzyk. I'm 100% convinced that they are going all in on Herter for the open coaching spot.

If it's worth anything, on Instagram all of the players who graduated this year and all of the ones who will be on next year's team have been putting each other on their stories (Semp and Berg signing with NY, Schmaltz signing and scoring with Providence, Wilkie signing and scoring with Calgary, Kunz signing etc). The only ones that haven't been included are Perron and Boisvert transfering, and I assume O-Mac won't be talked about either whenever he chooses his next location. As much as it hurts to lose the skill, I feel the cancers have been cut out.

I sat next to Slukynskys dad for the frozen face-off championship and talked to him for a while. When I asked him about the recruiting process after he decommited fron NMU, he said that they never talked to Brad, only Goehring. And Karl basically said "We'd love to have you, but we're full right now."

Oh that crossbar is coming back to bite them....
