I would completely agree with you in this.
SPECIFICALLY the lack of attention to the mid-moderate levels of Champions club spending. They need to do a much better job recruiting and celebrating those gifts from football alum and supporters.
Just curious-what amounts are considered mid-moderate levels?

I disagree.. what irks me about NIL is that athletes were whining for years... "i want to get paid for my likeness.. blah blah blah"
Then, the NCAA allows it to happen...."Ok go make money off yourself."
Now instead of the athlete going out and setting it all up and actually earning their money, they expect the coaches and booster clubs to set it up for them.... that's not what it was intended for. Just drives me nuts.
We can all dislike it, but we can't ignore it. We need NIL accounts and lots of money in them.

All this talk of fundraising and the biggest pot should go to NIL.
That is the key going forward in my opinion.

When we play like it's our Super Bowl we can play with and beat most any FCS team. But it's hard playing up to that level every week. Sometimes you have to be good enough to grind out wins when it's not your best performance or your team is not 10 out of 10 emotionally, and we are not at that level. 2-2 could be 0-4 and I don't think you can argue that we could be 4-0, even 3-1. All things considered I expect a big bounce back, 10 out of 10 effort and emotion, and expecting a big W. We are literally Tarzan at home and more like Jane on the road.
Very curious how many will get the Tarzan/Jane reference.
I'm mostly hopeful, but the D scares me this year. As one poster put it, 3 of their TD's involved their player not being touched! How does that happen?

Bobby's boys played SDSU tough today. SU scored 14 points in the last 8 mins.
Gonna have to tighten the D at every position and hope to get better OLine play to beat these guys.

Anyone else feel that maybe after the 4th or 5th sack that Bubba should have gone to Quincy? Seems like we were needing a more mobile QB to extend played. Might have made a difference. Who knows. Just spit ballin here.
Tommy escaped at least twice that many by using his feet.
He's getting killed. I watched Bryant for a few plays. He is NOT good on pass protection. Got beat easily too often.

Do you think Ethan would flip given his younger brother is planning to join him in Minneapolis in a year? I’m afraid this could be a situation that UND has very little leverage in, even with a scholarship offer.
That makes sense, but could this be a situation like the Romfos where they start at separate places and then get together at UND?

This is very good. Man we have picked up some quality recruits early.
But we need to fire the coaches that recruited them because the team isn't that good and if you don't believe that you're mediocre too and don't care about UND football.

Plus I think Grady had a few highlights go viral as well. I seem to remember him running back kickoffs.
Yep.
He was a man against boys. It was cartoonish how much bigger he was than the competition.

It starts as the theme for a 60s beach movie then slides into the theme song for a 70's cop drama and ends with another 70s theme song a laugh track comedy.

On this morning's SC, the reverse flea flicker was Best Trick Play.

My bad. I lump you in with UND FB Fan and he wants Bubba, Danny, Kostich, the secretary, janitor and most anyone who works with UND football to be gone.

The O-Line got an important piece back this week didn't they?
Hope that the injuries are too serious and everyone is good to go for SIU
Who's hurt?
The secondary had Cole Davis who got burned on a TD but also redeemed himself with a great open field tackle in the 4th Q
But he wasn't even 2 deep was he?

Color guy was brutal. Worst moment was the Belquist play where he thought because the NAU player was down, it meant Bo was down as well. Also said “we have to check in the rules in that one”.
Looking forward to Brian Shawn and the Midco crew calling games from here on out.I think he thought he was down because his hand was done.

I whined about the D and I still feel there's lots to improve. Though give them credit they stood strong at the end. Are we on our 3 string corners?
In EVERY game the big bomb has landed. How can that happen in EVERY game? -
GREAT W

CAN the D make a freaking stop???

Absolutely. The "experts" have been proven wrong. Tommy is so cool out there and let's face it, most of the time he's scrambling away from large men who want to hurt him.
CUE the "experts" saying "But he hasn't won the big games"
