You talk about the walking wounded.....Losing Hextall.....losing Gregoire.....my gosh...... You talk about two key injuries.....I guess its a good thing that they happened earlier in the season as opposed to later in the year.... I've been way out of the loop. Is Gregoire a concussion? Come on insiders, don't fail me now.

I'm not going out on much of a limb here, but I think that Genoway is going to have a great weekend.....I think we'll see him pick it up a notch from where he's already been the first couple of weeks.
-
I like that Schlossman recognized the fact that Genoway did it without wanting any type of recognition. What a great example for the rest of the team, hopefully this is something that rubs off on the rest of the team. I like the idea of keeping the team at a hotel Friday night. Although you would hope the players are mature enough to get themselves ready for game 2 of the weekend without any special type of treatment. Here is a question. When the Sioux hosted the regional a couple years ago (Holy Cross) did the team stay in a hotel that weekend?
-
Genoway is a lot like Brett Favre......high risk high reward sort of game offensively. He usually only gets scored on when he pinches on a play and an odd man rush the other way ends up in the sioux net. Tonight he was in good defensive position and was walked around.....you're right, not a good sign at all....
-
My gosh....talk about back and forth at the end. Dell with a great save at the end to get a point out of the game for the sioux. A tie sits better than a loss, but still a game the sioux should have won. I can't believe that the officials called that play a goal....that was goaltender interference to a t..............The guy loses his edge into the goalie, lays on him, and the puck goes off him and into the net.....doesn't make much sense. The guy shouldn't have gotten to the net in the first place though.....not a great play by Genoway to get walked around like that. No loss.....lets go get SCSU next weekend.

3-2 Sioux late second.
-
Glad to see the real Irish showed up in second period....should be a great game to the finish..... Sioux just need to get out of this period and regroup.....wow....Dell almost gave up a softy.
-
Thats how you let a team back in the game......throw the puck around in your own end....and now you have to kill a penalty....
-
I mean my gosh....why can't Dell make four saves from in close there? Where is Eidsness? Dell has been very good. The Sioux need to put some pucks in.....too close for comfort here.
-
The Sioux are absolutely killing the Irish in the corners. Total domination on the cycle for the sioux. Yzerman said it best, put in a powerplay goal here and the game can be just about in the bank.

Great early shift from the first line. Buzzing all over the place.
-
Dell in the net tonight.....lets roll fellas!
-
I'm anxious to see Anders Lee play. Extremely hyped out of Edina, and extremely hated by some for not attending the University of Minnesota....(Because every kid who grows up in Minnesota dreams of playing for the gophers right?) I hope the sioux don't pull the same old win Friday and come back Saturday with sloppy play and a loss....Getter done fellas! Getter done! A very happy Thanksgiving to all. Plenty to be thankful for, don't take any of it for granted.

When the name is retired and they can't have the logo on the jerseys anymore this is what they should go to. Gosh I love the look of these.

I wish I could watch this series on TV......should make for some great hockey both nights. You have your prototypical Blais team against a team that might have found its groove against Bucky. I think the advantage the sioux have is that any one of their four lines can match up with the top line at UNO. I think one thing that hurt UNO against the gophs that allowed the gophs to make that crazy comeback against them was their depth at the end. Blais can say all he wants about having the best conditioned team in the country, but I don't think there is any type of conditioning that can handle four lines rolling all night long. I'll say a split occurs this weekend. This could be the weekend where Dell has to steal a game for the sioux, anxious to see if he is up to the challenge.
-
Got to get at least one victory out of the weekend.....split makes sense......Its official....Blais is now the enemy......

People people.....one word says it all.....Wisconsin.....I mean come on...... Every year at the final five the most crazy/disturbed fans we run across come from Wisconsin.....never fails. I think the Wisconsin fans also hold the record for puking the most at Alarys. I don't know how half of them cheer during games because they're too drunk to realize whats going on. And regardless of the outcome they sing and dance after every game.....probably because they aren't sure who won....

If they are going to get a new coach into the program they need to go with the sooner than later attitude. One more year of transition until they are eligible for postseason play. Let a new guy come in, put his system in place, and have all guns firing for their first year of postseason eligibility. If Mussman is around next year, you may as well keep him around for a couple years longer to see if his system really will ever get working. I'm still waiting for possible new coaches.....Maybe Nielson from Duluth? Schweigert? COME BACK DALE!!!!

I'm pissed off as all hell......this is sad to watch..... Two five minute majors in one game.....ridiculous. Its tough to watch.
-
I'm frustrated as hell.......two 5 minute majors that were ridiculous.... The next sioux player that gets checked should act like they got shot....should get them a five minute major.
-
They need to take checking out of hockey.....this is ridiculous...... Or there needs to be a penalty for having your head down....
-
Another five minute major......
-
How in the hell was there no call on the Genoway wraparound play......my gosh....get out the whistle fellas thats a scoring opportunity....
-
My gosh I'm impressed with Forbort.....Such a big, physical, smart presence on the ice. Its so tough for guys to take the puck away from him..... I think the sioux are doing fine. Got to remember they are only playing with three lines now that Gleason is no more......

Boy, guess I started a discussion topic....wow..... I thought Eidsness was good in the last game he played against Denver, the goals he gave up weren't his fault, and he gave the team a great chance to win the game. I'm guessing that Brad will get a start in Wisconsin and he needs to go out there and prove why he was the #1 guy the past two years. Hopefully Dell continues his strong play though, its been encouraging to watch.
