In Omaha 5x5 it wasn’t close for long stretches. Omaha has never made the NCHC tournament and UND has never missed it. Loser likely has their season come to an end. This team will string us along as long as humanly possible. UND in 3. Sunday night hockey in this one. #ferdahogg

What gets me is a kid like Jon Lizotte for SCSU grew up in the shadows of the Ralph and all we hear about is “his skating is bad....he can’t skate....he won’t play at UND.” So he goes to SCSU and plays most of his games on an Olympic rink (not a good place for a poor skating defenseman) and is a key contributor for them and also a captain his junior season....(All Academic team too....) I’ll stop there. Glad local kids like he and Benson are having success elsewhere.

Not a good weekend for Sullivan. Just watched last night on DVR....scary. Send him to Duluth next weekend or D3 also an option.

Glad the championship was a close hockey game. Congrats to Central. Glad that there was a western team there too. That makes the last 5 years a western team has made the finals. Definitely progress.
