That is pretty much exactly the situation. Cam is a better goalie, but with the softies and struggles he has had this year you almost force the head coach's hand. Cam will very likely get another shot, but IMHO it's Thome's net until he loses it.

Me too. Team playing better with Thome. I'm not a Cam hater, it's just the way it is right now.

Berry has to stick with Thome at this point. Regardless of what Cam does in practice it’s Thome’s net to lose. Glad that Cam is being a good teammate through the process. One of the reasons that the 97 group came together and won that championship was Kvelevog on the bench being a team first guy and supporting the Freshman Schweitzer any way he could. You could even go back to Jake Brandt’s senior season and how big of a role he played when he had to take a back seat to Jordan Parise.

Mismash may have set the bar too high last night. Dominates two shifts, scores two goals while drawing a penalty pretty much ending CC hopes. I hope he gets more consistent and isn't a "when I care" type player. This group could win the national championship or lose to Jamestown, and neither would surprise me.
