Would love to see some new blood in the NCAA broadcast team for ESPN but guess that's asking too much.
Amen.....amen....Cohen just isn't good....

This women's game has all the makings of OT, which would push the selection show back or a new network.....

Doesn’t matter. We have folks complaining about the small rink where UND is going…the attendance issue works both ways.
I'm not complaining about the rink, it'll host the regional just fine, with plenty of tickets to spare.
I'm more on edge that the NCAA/coaches are fine with letting regionals get played in front of crowds that would make a youth t ball team blush.
*Also on edge that the boys had great seats for Sam Hunt....sigh...

At this point the NCAA is just making fun of the teams that are pushing for change for the regional system.
All the while the women's ball tournament regional finals are being played at home sites today....likely to save attendance figures....
Just to have ten minutes in a room with the people that make these decisions...

That's quite a haul down there...guessing attendance will not be great even in a 2,500 seat arena.
Attendance is so bad they let a 2,500 seat arena host. Pepsi Rink in Minot holds that many, they should put a bid out.

Watching some of the Sparty-Wolves highlights....boy is our d zone gonna be pressed if it's the Wolves.
I think Michigan's goaltending is sketchy. 5th year kid, but there are times he's a fish out of water.
On a side note it's good to see people pack Munn Ice Arena again. I think that's a direct correlation to them forechecking again.

And thus for the keep things neutral blowhard group....Denver a 1 seed likely in Massachusetts against a team that lost 8-1 in a must win game only to have the right teams win on Saturday to get in.

It sounds like CC owns the majority of the 32 different scenarios to get in but it also sounds like UMass gets in if the favorites like Cornell and Denver win. Does this sound about accurate?
Big Omaha fans are the Tigers.

They miss many assignments. Weak side is wide open when they puck watch. I don't get how a team that has high end skating ability has trouble defending at times. All they need to do is win races and battles and all is well. Skill is already there.
Watch good teams in the d zone and a common denominator is good weakside wing presence with a shot blocking attitude.

Those throwing Hedquist under the bus for yesterday need look no further than our team defense the last half of this year.

So, maybe a route of Michigan, Michigan State, BC, then BU to #9? Seems doable.
Win the GLI and then the Beanpot??
Eff.....

To be honest, I’m kind of relieved that I don’t have to crawl out of bed at 8 am to get to the Hogg by 10 am after another sad-sack showing by the team in this tournament. 2010, 2011, and 2012 seem like forever ago…
Crappy part about every Hogg event I attended was it was always after a loss and people were in a bad mood.
Still a good time though. And meeting an individual like Sprig was fantastic. Wish the X hadn't given my kid food poisoning last year. One last go around would have been fun.

What does CC need to happen to get in?
They are cheering for:
-Omaha
-BU
-St. Lawrence
-Michigan
St. Lawrence can lose, but BC has to lose as well then. They are big time UNO fans. Although they can be saved by Michigan, BU, and St. Lawrence if the Pios win.

Denver-1 seed
UND-2 seed
Omaha-3 seed
Western-3/4 seed
CC-Holding their breath for a 4 seed.

Believe that Denver win means UND is a 2 seed.

Heck of a comeback for Cornell...scored 5 goals in the 3rd.
We could have used one of those 3rd period efforts today.UNO > Dartmouth
I kid I kid. Hang in there buddy!

So we roll into the NCAA’s with a goalie who hasn’t played in 3 weeks or a freshman whose hot streak ended in disaster tonight.
Awesome.
No mimosas I'm guessing? The NCHC and city of St. Paul thank you!

One softy…team D was the glaring issue from my angle. Also, a ton of passengers tonight.
Yup. Livanavage scores a big pp goal, then loses his guy for the dagger.
Team defense at times this year has been abysmal. Not going to make a run without a cleanup in that area. But is it too late?

The bend over and grab your ankles scenario would be UND vs UNO in Sioux Falls.
5 NCHC teams would give them an excuse to do that.

Very emotional at times.
Anything I say can't be held against me while watching my favorite team right?

I'm hoping for some chaos via the NCHC getting 6 teams in.
I wasn't able to find a path with that happening. I believe with the Q losing its impossible.

SCSU can no longer get an at large bid. They've got to win the NCHC.

I wonder what is going on with Ludvig. Don't think he would have been the difference today, but everything seems off there.
