Now, if you will all excuse me, I have to go get some nummy food like Red Pepper or a sandwich from Dakota Harvest Bakers and eat outside because it's a gorgeous day and we should all take advantage of it.

If someone's going to get you, they're going to get you......we did training scenarios with someone chasing you with a knife, your chances of reacting are a lot slower than you think. By the time that you react to someone chasing you with a knife, you're pretty much toast anyway. If you live in fear, you have already given up some of your right to live free.....there really is no reason to stress over this stuff. It's like going into a bomb shelter because terrorists might attack us someday.

I'm not sure if it was ten minutes or not, but she did talk about her political beliefs at the last two or three concerts I saw her at. Her Detours album also has several songs on it stating her thoughts about how things are. You don't have to agree with what someone says....what it boils down to is that we have the freedom of speech in this country and an artist has the right to say what they wanna say.....if you don't want to hear it, don't attend someone's concerts, don't buy their albums.

HHmmmm....artists using their platforms to speak out for what they believe in.... Oh the humanity of it all...... I had actually hoped to find the pic of Sheryl Crow with her "I do not believe in your war, Mr. Bush." T-shirt on......but I ran across this one first.

The Holy Cross upset of Minnesota (at least to me) was a much bigger win for Holy Cross than it was a loss for Minnesota. That night the better team was the small school from the east, that out-played, out-hustled, and just plain deserved to win. I am honored that I was in attendance that night, it's something I will never forget.

Yeah, I finished 29th. *flexes* That's like 200 higher than last year.

Don't worry, I donated the money.....and I paid in cash, cause rich people don't write checks..... Let's talk about recruiting classes.....Don Lucia won two National Championships with kids that Doug Woog recruited. Has he won anything since? Cut the women's program some slack. It isn't about the money, it's about the athletes. I think it would be dumb for a school rich in hockey tradition to not have a women's team and that the school probably has a bad rap because of some past problems in the coaching area, and it is going to take a couple years for the team to get over that. Anyway.....let next season begin, and may it be better than this season.
