The last game in which the Sioux faced the Gophers, UND hung with them until Minnesota scored a goal at 5:18 of the third period. UND pulled their goalie and the Goofs scored an empty-netter with one second left. I was at the game, the Sioux played their hearts out and left everything on the ice. I wouldn't be surprized if they took one this weekend from the Goofs.

I'll make sure I'm wearing safety goggles. Or, wait.......I'll take Robin Roberts as my weapon, I'll put $50 down that she can beat everyone on SiouxSports up. Okay, time to take the kiddies to hockey. Behave while yo mama is gone.

Okay, in the defense of Sweden, wouldn't that be a strategic move? You also have to think- what if the team loses, and can't regain it's composure after the loss? I wouldn't blame a team for not playing their top players as much in a game that really doesn't mean anything. But if you're going to do it, why on earth would you announce it?
